From my recollection, the lowest mintage for a 1 oz American Platinum Eagle is the 2015 Proof Platinum Eagle.

I really like the platinum eagles with the different designs on the reverse of the proofs. I love coins with an eagle on the back.

I think demand is and will grow. I'm seeing more and more interest in platinum coins and in the future. I think platinum is superior than gold, it's rarer and denser, so counterfeiting is not an issue.

Let’s do some simple math... 133,000 1 ounce minted platinum 2020 Eagles. It’s midSept 2020 and they’re nearly sold out everywhere... I read about a dude on another thread who’s picked up nearly 110 2020 1 ounce platinum Eagles Himself- that’s nearly 10% of the total minted for 2020... yeah... you’d better believe these bad boys will sell real well in the future. Regardless of spot price! Heck, even the maples, Britannias and others, are getting harder to get- as their premiums rise... Gold is everywhere but platinum... not so much. Palladium? Even less. Rhodium? Hmmnnn... ;-)
