I had the opportunity to test out the Premium X70 yesterday. What I noticed about the ADAS system is that it will change your cluster meter colour into red colour and put out a warning sign. This happened when I tested the car while doing these things: 1 - If you cucuk the car in front of you, it will give you a continuous beep and your cluster meter will change into a warning sign and remind you to watch your distance. 2 - This part is a bit hard for me to explain, but I'll try my best. This is probably the Lane assist system. If you drive outside of the continuous line (the outer line of the road), it will beep and your meter will lit up with a red warning. But if the line is not clear / visible, the system may fail to recognize it. 3 - If you drive above 110 km/h, it will inform you that you are driving over the speed limit and gives you a continuous beep for a few seconds. But after that, it will keep quiet.

Great observation! No. 3 is the speed limit warning, you can disable it in the instrument cluster menu.

i am from pakistan and when proton x70 is launched in pakistan i consider to buy this for supporting muslim country industry but when i do little research for problems of proton i heard about proton x70 break failures and read Malaysian people comment in which they complaining about poor build quality of proton x70 .. that proton x70 could not spend only 2 or 3 years and get many issues .... and many other comments like that, i have also seen some videos in which proton x70 producing horrifying sound at 140 km/h speed ..these comments and video change my mind and i'm not considering proton x70 any more ... if you guys know about that proton quality is getting better or they resolve issues in proton do let me know .... Thank you

Since you mention about the new DCT in X70, it made me wonder of my ten year old Mazda 6 gearbox is already passed 352,000km.. how long will it last before everything crumbles. May i know what's the sign of it failing.

Jerkiness, hesitant in the shifts, bad shifting quality and noise during shifts are all signs of the transmission failing. 😃

I don’t understand why There is no handle on the side roof on the driver side.? The other three sides all have handles on the side roof .the CBU has handles on all sides like most cars.

The Satira Neo is quite a modern car, shouldn't be too much of a problem.Our advice is turn it to accessory mode for a few seconds before cranking the car 😃

Actually in most left hand drive cars, the shifter is pushed away from the driver. Volkswagen and BMW are also the same case.

Why is the X70 200KG heavier then CRV and Mazda CX-5? Anyone knows ? Why other people can make their car lighter and Proton cannot? I remember the old protons before Geely JV were always lighter Cars then the Japanese? 9 million km is combined testing. Let's say each gearbox has run 200k km, means 9m km are combination of 45 gearbox. I don't know the exact figure la.. I watched other reviewer mentioned 350k km lifespan is they test without changing gear oil. If you change as scheduled, it could last way longer than that.

@@WapCar unfortunately no.just drove for short distance..just enough to feel the acceleration..I think the X70 is very good SUV..in terms of value for money..In my book the Cx5 is at the top..the Proton a close second in terms of dynamics and quality but you actually don't lose much with the proton.
