Nook is so adorable! I love seeing him in every video 😊. I remember reading Watchmen in high school and it was interesting....I'll just say that. You have become a huge T.J Klune fan 😊. I have yet to read a book by him lol.

I never read Watchmen, but I watched the HBO sequel series and it was phenomenal. My husband read the comic and was able to help me understand the nods/references, and I got the impression that having read the comic will help you get the most out of the show. Also, I'm halfway through House in the Cerulean Sea, my first TJ Klune, and I'm loving it so far. I bought Wolfsong and will be reading it at some point soon.

As a parent, King and the Dragonflies just broke my heart. But I thought it was so well written and compelling. That was the first book I've ever read by Kacen Callender and I really look forward to reading more of their books.

Hello! You need to read How to be a normal person, too! And FENCE comic, it's funny and cute. I'd love to watch a middle grade series/books recommendation, or just your favorites or some Halloween recs. I'm very intrigued by the Dragonslayer!

Hey! I think your comment on my Tell Me It’s Real Review was flagged, because I got the notification, but it doesn’t show when I try to respond to it. Maybe the title of the second book flagged it, so I can’t read the whole message lol. But I do plan to continue that one! I plan to check out everything by Klune over time! So many people seem to love How to Be a Normal Person. I checked out the first volume of Fence, and I liked it. I just don’t feel super compelled to continue. My library does have the digital copies, so I may continue at some point. I need to make an updated Middle Grade Recommendation video. It’s been years since I made my first one.

@@ConnorOBrien yes, def long. i thought it was going to be 11 books but then he released a 3rd volume of short stories. i havn't read that one yet but im sure it will make me cry lol. if your library has more than just the first book make sure you read Something Like Autumn before Something Like Winter. when i read them there was a different reading order between goodreads and amazon, and decided to go with Winter first, but trust me you're gonna want to read Autumn before Winter :)

first of all this video was great and you are a beautiful handsome gorgeous man Connor and second I have gay books that are written by gay men to recommend to you Connor and the first one is Jesus and John by Adam mcomber he is a gay horror writer and Jesus and John is his latest novel and he has too short story collections the first one is called this new and poisonous air and the second one is called my house gathers desires and there is also shuggie Bain by Douglas Stuart and there is also surrender your sons by Adam sass and there is also hideous beauty by William hussey and there is also heartbreak boys by Simon James green and there is also wrangle stone by darren Chariton and there is also stories to sing in the dark by Matthew bright and there is also not here not now by Alex Jeffers and there is also cirque des freaks by Julian Lopez and there is also exist plans for teenage freaks and of echoes born by Nathan burgoine and there is also the final decree by Jeffrey Rucker and that is all the gay books that are written by gay men that I recommend for now
