If you've shopped here before, then you can relate to the disappointment we feel with the price increases. Yes, they're still cheap compared to a fireworks streetside stand, and of course they're going to be cheap compared to california and hawaii markets, but at the end of the day the price increases are a let down. Really disappointed with Red Apple on this one. I knew it was going to be a matter of time before they realized they could charge more for their fireworks, but they probably won't be my go-to place anymore if I can find somewhere better.

Drive back to Vegas and take the main freeways back don’t go back the short way it’s longer but worth it. They know what to look for this time of year heading back to Cali on that shorter route. Your going all the way there spending a lot of money might as well insure you make it back with the works.

I went last week to grab some fireworks. stopped at the checkpoint and the man asked if I had any fruits or vegetables. I said no and he said have a good day. Took less then ten seconds. Though I was in a RV and had them hidden under the couch, if you’re in a car I’d hide them in a suitcase, under a blanket or some jackets.

Update for anyone asking about checkpoints. Did the dash from SoCal I ended up missing my exit to go straight to Pahrump 🤦‍♂️By the time I realize I had to commit to go around into Vegas😐. There is a Checkpoint at the Agriculture station. I took the 127 down and the coast was clear. To be frank I only seen 2 cops and that was in the morning. None on the way out!Good luck!!
