so they move just by punch momentum. its kind of clever

Maybe join a bunch of single motor throwaway toys together to make a super robot.

I think in 2064 the main problem is going to be those big heavy spring attachment point nubs and the ICs. The oldest ICs today are only around 50 years old and while they aren't exactly failing left and right, many of them are failing. They have much large components (the components on the IC) than today's ICs. I would think smaller components would fail before larger ones.

cool little robots. I didn't even know that they still made casual brand robots at this point, I thought they all had to be bootlegs or 1000-dollar professional robots.

ROBO TRUMBLE!

Infra red is cheaper and you don't have to make different versions for regions with different rules for radio frequency usage. The motor pattern sounded slightly different for different moves and I imagine with that ratchet mechanism in the wheels it will move slightly different. And if you do force in the wheels backward you have one robot that runs away 😄

The problem is you need a line of sight. I would think most regions have standardized RF stuff to the lowest common denominator. Plus they output such little power.
