I remember Larry talking about finding a set of those wheels at lunch. I’m glad he got around to installing them.

This is very cool. I had no idea, you had to do that for CF wheels. I'm looking to get a 2022 GT500 this summer - end of year and can't wait to join the club. Are you in Texas too? I'm in the Houston area. Thanks for all of your videos. They're very informative.

Thanks Robert & good luck on your GT500! I am in the DFW area.

@@ShelbyFlyer Ok cool. I have family up in that area myself. I'm running with a RACE RED 2018 GT w/10 speed at the moment and a few mods, like the 2016 - 2018 base GT350 style wheels and wing, resonator delete, intake, and some black emblems, roof, etc. I love it, but it's time for an upgrade to my dream car, since I first laid eyes on the 2007 GT500. Keep doing what you're doing. Not many give us content with this kind of detail and insight. By the way, when it comes to PPF and Ceramic Coating, which products do you recommend over another?

@@ShelbyFlyer thank you for the video. Good to know that many of these bolts are one time use.
@ShelbyFlyer2 жыл бұрын
@@davemurphy63C10 After chatting with others, the consensus is the bolts are considered one time use due to the preexisting thread lock on the bolts. Others have just cleaned the bolts and applied new thread locker.

Is the offset different at all with the carbon wheels or do they fit on the base gt500 exactly where they should?
@ShelbyFlyer Жыл бұрын
If you add longer studs or the CFTP hubs, the CF wheels fit on the base model just like they do on the CFTP.
