The engine roar in these buses are some what intoxicating. I love it!

I absolutely love the hdx. The style, power and the way it drives is nice. Great footage.

Them wires need to be cut for that turn signal sound, that would drive me insane.

That’s why I’m glad my C2 has a “normal” turn signal click. The HDXs in my fleet have alternate relay clicks instead of the beeps (our EFXs have the beeps). I’ve had coaches make fun of the beeps 🤣🤣

Nice Thomas I had a 2017 just like this, but this year the district went with Bluebird and I got one new 2022 Bluebird All American rear engine. So far I like it, it does have a lot more options on the Bluebird I have electric mirrors, bigger air conditioning unit, bigger driver area, but I do miss my Thomas but it was handed down to a different driver so I still get to see it.

@@ICFE300 that’s for sure. We got out new transportation director and mechanic and they decided that would be the end of those lmao. They had plenty of reason too considering that the ones we got would come from the factory worse than some of our buses that were 3 years old. And oh yeah one of the 2020s was on route with 800 miles when it threw a piston through the block.

It’s rated at 300hp instead of the 260hp max on the c2 tho. And you can spec an 8.9L Cummins or the Detroit if you wanted too but tbh this engine will do fine 99% of the time… it’s not a slow bus

@@danielsebring6220 It's not an L9, the L9 is governed at 2200 RPM, and if you watch the tachometer on the dashboard as the engine/ exhaust brakes kicks in, it goes well over 2500 RPM, and the 6.7 is governed at 2600, but it is known of going to 2700 or slightly above during the engine/ exhaust braking.

I hope we go back to Thomas, or even IC, but we switched to Blue Bird in 2019 for the power A. Because 320 now 350 HP And B. Thomas won't offer a Gas option, and the Gas CE is underpowered
