What was the technique used in the launch? Raise the RPMs to 1000 and then give it gas just as it hits the limiter at 2000 and let off the brake?

The best 0-60 I can do with my 2023 Camry SE is 7.75 seconds. I would assume the LE may be slightly faster due to being slightly lighter and having smaller tires with less rolling resistance.
@DroneStrike1776Ай бұрын
No, the weight difference is not enough to affect 3/4 of a sec. 100lbs a tenth to a tenth and a half. This can only mean one thing, this person was going down an incline. Edmunds did it in 8.2 seconds without a 1ft rollout.

It got 6.4 0-60 but it timed it at 7.0. How did it manage to be so quick?

I’m curious if this has been modified. All the videos I’ve seen so far have put thus vehicle accelerating quicker than any other 2.5 Camry. I myself am quite impressed but I’m wondering if it’s been modified at all. I can tell it is not AWD because the front tires are spinning. So, driving just the front wheels only may give it the advantage versus AWD.

Stock. It was a cooler day around 30f, 140lb driver. It was usually in the 7.5 sec range though. 1/4 mile at the track my best time was around 15.7 ish. Not sure why it pulled so well here

@@a4Audi2153down an incline. We all know the Camry 4cyl isn't that fast. Nice car but not a 7sec 15.1 car. I driven the 2020 Camry SE plenty of times, 100mile round trips, it's a very lack luster power train and a not-so confident inspiring suspension.

Any way to get more power from a stock 2018 2.5l le camry?

Did you have it in neutral to spin the rpms up?

Meanwhile, my 2.4 GDI is hitting 60 at 6.3-6.8 seconds. And hitting 14 second 1/4 mile times.

2.4 gdi in what?
@DroneStrike1776Ай бұрын
No it's not. Don't ever lie again. Those GDI throw connecting rods like an Olympic sport. 2.4 Elantra doing 8.4 seconds with a 1ft rollout. It's a trash engine.

You were downhill right? Lol my mom has one of these, and I happen to have a dragy myself. Timed it at 7.95 sec flat road , 400 DAs…1/4 mile was like 16 sec at like 89-91 mph This was 100% not dragy verified 😂 These cars are slow as hell…sadly really bc they look very nice with the higher trim levels (Btw, if your run has a extremely negative DA, you need to DA correct that for more accurate times).

Flat ground, best ET at the official track was 15.8 with 2 people and a hitch installed after this. Slow, but a lot better than the older Camry 4 cylinders
@M4B21S88 Жыл бұрын
@@a4Audi2153 then your run is most likely done with a very , very negative DA. Theres no way a stock camry 2.5 will do 7 sec 0-60 , sub 10 sec 1/8th, and almost dip into the 14s in the 1/4 mile Lol

@M4B21S88 honestly i was suprised too, and i did this more than once to make sure but it was about 1,000 ft above sea level, temperature was about 30 degrees F so that helped. Under half tank, driver weighs about 130lbs, good launch and cool weather idk what else to say, i agree with you mostly

@@a4Audi2153 very interesting how DAs affect performance. Thats also why i love dragy. Im in Fl so sea level. Usually anything above 1500 DA will not yield me my best numbers , ive never had NEGATIVE DAs but those have the opposite effect.

I just ran my 2.5 SE at the track yesterday. It was doing consistent 10.7s in the 1/8th.
