@@shannonsengineering Same. A little fun fact: in Sudan, they call the LX a 'Thatcher', after the British PM, as she's solid. The king, is the l200 here, and is usually named after a current, majestic persona. That said, 'Thatcher' has stuck for all those decades; it is a car that has proven itself. Recently, this car has became associated with fear -- so good, the government & militias have seized almost all from the public. When seen, you know it's a militia force fighter (RSF), or intelligence officer (Militias have grabbed a hold of the intelligence office here). Knowing this car's capability doesn't help with this fear. Khartoum is flooded with spanking new RSF LXs sent from the UAE -- such a, scary badass looking car. lol

There has to be another way of storing spare tyres. With all that weight high up and hanging of the rear it's bound to make a big disadvantage to centre of gravity especially on steep inclines. Bloody nice setup anyway.

That is sexy! Well done! Really wish we could get 79 series here in the US. We need an Aussie company and a US company to collaborate to send old 79 bodies and chassis without engines so we can build these here. EPA won’t allow the engines into the US unless they’re 25 years old or older.
