I agree that the Toyota Rava4 is the better looking car but for the price and options, the Nissan is the better option in my opinion. If you try to get the same options as in the Nissan Rogue SL (31k), the Toyota and the Honda CR-V will cost you probably around 37k. Also, many Nissan dealers offer a lifetime Powertrain Warranty (included in the 31k if bought new). So as long as you are the first owner, you won’t never have to worry about paying to fix your transmission. And I love the cargo divider utility in the Nissan Rogue. It allows you configure the trunk to your need. You can set up the cargo space as shelves thanks to the dividers. So if you buy grocery (for example: eggs) and/or order several plates of food, you don’t have to stack everything on top of each other as in normal trunk. The shelve system allows to place the items separately so thing don’t get squeezed. So practical.

It is not about transmission warranty, it is about the fact that they break or not. We scheduled a trip with my friend who owned a Rogue. Right 2 days before the trip his transmission failed. It was a lease had only 20k miles on it which was totally covered by the dealer but who covers our ruined trip which we had planned for long time ahead. This means you go to a Covid-19 hospital and hug every patient there without wearing a mask and tell everyone "I have a good medical insurance which covers my bills and a good life insurance which supports my family after I die" ! By the way my friend returned the Rogue to the dealer and never looked back because 2 months to the end of lease his beaks stopped working while driving in the highway. He was lucky to get out of that alive!

Stats say the Toyota is superior. Comfort and features give the nod to Nissan. Deciding factor: wife loves the Nissan ! When she's happy, I'm happy ...

Rogue outclass the competition in terms of comfort. Long distance driving is not like any of the competition. Will never get ur body sore from a long drive. The secret is their zero gravity seats.

@efuddy4 жыл бұрын
You need to subtract points on the CRV for the gas getting into the oil problem. I am not sure they have this fixed. Also, I am leery of turbocharged engines.
@quincyrhinehart36352 жыл бұрын
I know the 2020 model Toyota CRV is having the oil problems in a Toyota RAV4 have Electrical in transmission Issues their cars not as reliable as they used to be.

Most comfortable and nicest interior in the higher trims goes to the CRV. But if I had it to do over again I’d buy the Toyota, Honda still hasn’t resolved the oil dilution problem with their 1.5 litre turbo. The Nisan is comfortable but overall reliability kills it.

You mean nissan reliability nails it now they gotten better now 2017 I rather deal with nissan then a Toyota in Honda but every car have their issues

Can't comment on the other two cars but the crv's mileage per gallon is total false. Just got my 2019 crv ex three days ago and within that time frame I drove over 600 miles with 95% of that on the highway at 70mph on cruise control. The average mileage I got was 26 miles per gallon. It's a total far cry from the 33 miles honda claimed.
@Allcarseveryday4 жыл бұрын
Interesting, haven't heard of that being a significant issue on that model yet. Something to be aware of I guess. Maybe it's got something to do with the fact that its not naturally aspirated, but then again no engine should be working too hard at 70 on cruise control.

Your comment about the CRV is true.... I test drove 2 CRV'S both times I never came close to 34 mpg on the highway...That actually stopped me from buying one because I love good mpg...
@MrRowdy14u4 жыл бұрын
The salesman also told me once you drive the CRV more the mpg gets better....Did the car salesman mention that too you when you test drove it..
