I have the same year Odyssey, 2013, less the 70000 miles. I'm ready to sell it for 2 reasons. First reason that plays big role on it, the horsepower, only 248, it feels it takes a lot of effort to go up the hill, especially when i'm in some interstate highway. I feels like i also blow the engine if I step heavier on the gas paddle, and it down shift sometimes. Also the pick up always takes 2 to 3 seconds, it sometimes doesn't give confidence to change lane in some situations. Second reason is the wind noise. It makes the drive not too enjoyable sometime, especially if I have to talk on the bluetooth, not the car's bluetooth, I mean to my earphone.

Elliott Johnson Yea but a person that Matains there car will still get more life from the Sienna or odyssey than a fiat Pooja Chrysler product. It doesn’t matter how much it has to offer when it’s life is still shorter. It’s a good rental car but not a good car to own unless you want to spend a lot of money on it. The car looks alright but again none of that surface stuff matters when it’s shit on reliability . Looks are subjective, features are as well. In the end all that matters is how much life can you get out of it and this car simply does not hold up on the reliability column and makes it the worst van to own out of the three.

We had an 88 Dodge Caravan for 15 years and 160K miles. It had some minor electrical issues and trim issues. But the fact that it stayed with us for so long says alot. We also had a 94 Voyager with 112K miles which my dad used as a work van. Of course, we took care of them. What I took away from growing up with that Caravan and Voyager is that they are durable vehicles when taken care of. The problem is, if I made a survey of thousands of car owners in America, I think 70% of them don't maintain their cars as they should. Toyotas tend to be built with these people in mind and hold out longer than the rest. But I can't imagine more than 30% of Americans properly bother maintaining their cars. And for this reason, I don't buy pre-owned vehicles unless I know its full history.

Well paddle shifters are different than the push-button shifter. Based on what I've seen in new Sienna's, they don't offer them. Instead they have an area in the bottom left corner of the shift pattern that allows for 'manual' shifting the same way paddle shifters do, but you have to pull backward for a downshift and push forward for an upshift I believe.

Did you had any issue with the steering wheel and alignment? I had bought one and next day I noticed I had to steer the steering wheel to the left in order for the van to go straight. I went back to the dealership and they took care of it but while going home I noticed the issue was still there even when it was fixed. They were super nice and changed the van for me, but that one had the same issue so the dealership contacted their partner dealership and asked them to drive one and it had the same issue as well. I ended up refunding the van.

u didnt seat in it and experience how bad is the function ~ just tell how many funtion of each car has doesnt means anything.... for exsample , the pacifica middle seat can fold in the button of the car, that is very good function, but makes very hard seat, not soft, nice looking but when your family seating in it will yelling at you. same as the honda one, what suspension is use ? how noise it is?
@15Kilo5 жыл бұрын
I think you talked to much about cup holders and you didn’t mention drivability at all. And I completely disagree with your opinion that the Pacifica looks better than the Odyssey. The Odyssey drives like a midsize car and has the best turning radius...much better than most cars and trucks. Also has been named the best in safety and resale value.

Sir, how on earth can you compare Chrysler Touring L with Toyota XLE? In terms of Toyota XLE, they are not on the same level with the chysler Touring L . The specification of XLE is higher than Chrysler Touring L any day. If you want to be fair in my opinon, compare Toyota XLE with Chrysler Touring L+ or Limited
@thomasschaefer38015 жыл бұрын
The one take away from doing the vehicle research is that you are going to pick a vehicle that you want or met all of your needs. I was able to get a 2020 Chrysler Touring L that have similar safety measures as Honda, have eight seaters as a Toyota, got 15 cup holders, and more than I can ask for. Just make sure you do your research. Safety ratings, crash ratings, talk to mechanics, test drives, etc.. etc.. Only thing you will hate is paying the price of the van.

For 2020, Chrysler is coming out with the Voyager minivan. Yes, they are resurrection the Voyager nameplate. It will be a cheaper version of the Pacifica

You must not have the need to haul long items such as ladders or mattresses or you would have mentioned the lack of roof rails and crossbars on some of these vans. Roof rails used to standard equipment; mud flaps, too. Your video was, otherwise, a nice cursory review for those who are mostly people haulers. Edit - Forgot to add: Tow hitches aren't standard either. And for some makes an expensive install at the dealership.

This was a solid review. We've owned 2 Kia Sedonas and loved them. But due to electrical problems on both, we went for an Odyssey Touring. That was totaled two weeks ago and now we're looking for another. It's 2021 so I'm hoping you have an updated review. It would be worth noting the AWD option for the Pacifica anyway. Nonetheless, I'm subscribing to your channel as it this was an impartial and fair rating. Thanks!

Chrysler & reliability are 2 words that haven't worked together since the 70's. For me I purchased the Honda on looks (for a minivan) and how it drives. Is the Toyota more reliable? Yes, but if I'm going to spend $35,000 it has to look somewhat aesthetically pleasing.

Kia is a great van. Toyota is great but I wish it’s interior was as nice as Honda’s. On the other hand I wish Honda sat taller and had siennas transmission. I wish Chrysler would just make a reliable vehicle. I wish Dodge would simply do a new redesign for the caravan with updated tech, suspension, AWD, up the price and destroy then all. Bottom line is that people will pay for quality... Chrysler has so much to prove as they have stabbed the consumer in the back for many years. Note: it’s not like they can’t build a great reliable car it’s that they just choose not too.
@tking11704 жыл бұрын
Sienna SE best looking too in my opinion. Your subjective point scoring on that subject cost it the win. The Pacifica's awful reliability should kick it to a distant third.
@SmallAxeMP4 жыл бұрын
For those who only drive in America only pleSe allow others that drive here and out the countryside over bad terrain and hills to tell you the Honda Oddysey is the best along with the Toyota Sienna. The Honda with its extra features, looks and feel wins though.
