I have year 2009 1.0 and routinely use roof box or bicycle on roof with 3-4 passengers on board. Its realy funny drive 😂

@@persiaxfanbase6883 I have 1.0 2007 yaris, 2 passangers and luggage and my topspeed was 169 km/h on tachometer, its really fun, you need to push that little motor constantly above 4200 rpm to gain a speed +- 130 kmh and noise ( for me its going mainly from tires) is ridicoulous at this speed but it got a spirit

it drives the same but the thing drives 90kmph in 5th at 3000rpm(mine older one does with same engine) and needs to go higher on rpm

Tried it, it was a disaster! So I got me a 1.33 2015 and its great with evcen 4 people on motorway. Guess the 1.5 is even better

I used to drive few Aygos from last few years, 25k-87k mileage range, mostly with one passanger but sometimes even full car (me + 4 pass) and once i managed to get 147km/h with full loaded car , yet it took me like 5km to get that speed. I drove C1 for very short time (7600km odometer) , its exact same car. Now i drive Aygo X, fresh car from this year, 17k mileage and this one isnt that responsive (few more kilograms) but well better equipped so if anyone can choose - go Aygo X.

Had it. This 1.0 is great in town, but strugles anywhgere over 100kmh. The 1.33 I got recently is perfect anywhere.

Got the 1.33 too and I prefer it to the 1.0, although I love the 3-cilinder sound of that one.

0:52 I am driving it the same way as you did it here xD Torque is very low... Shifting points are around 3.5-4k RPM... And this clutch is hard to not to slip during shift 3:10 And that open throat sound +4k RPM open throttle

Yes torque is low but ok, good vid to see why a 70 hp car is enough on open road (and good for low fuel consommation)

I managed to bring mine to 168 by getting a slipstream from another car, but then that same car decided to maintain speed at like 165 so I had to let off the gas as I was getting too close to it. Been trying to reach 170 ever since.

Welp I have the Toyota Yaris from 2002 1.3L 86HP and luckily I’m happy it can go pretty far I do a lot of AUTOBAHN (that word 😂) for going to work so I really wanted a car that could go easily on highways

😂 Der kleine Motor muss ordentlich auf Drehzahl gehalten werden sonst zieht der keine Wurst vom Teller. Das geht natürlich auf den Lärm, den Verbrauch und die Lebensdauer.

Probably too late but 120 hp all day. Only thing I don't like on this car are the way too little horsepower. Most of the time problematic when going uphill. The car is really secure even at max speed which is about 160 km/h
