You said some beautiful words around 7:40 --- Baltimore Maryland (where I grew up), and Curtis Bay (next community over from Brooklyn Park, in northern Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Lived in Brooklyn Park, and in Glen Burnie, MD after college. Without being a trucker, I'm on the "See America " plan (as an ordained minister). Great to see some video of my old stomping ground. God bless you in your travels. "Pastor Dean" (Rev. Dr. James Dean McNamara, Christian Life Church, Kissimmee FL).

Damn... Those brakes though... It would drive me absolutely insane I can only imagine that along with the steering noise and the fact that the truck is still pretty much new would probably intensify my frustration.

Now that Volvo is watching lets see what they do about it.....I can not rap my head around spending 160k for a truck and have to change the brakes at my expense ....and the noise started at 8k miles 23k on it now

@@provostmotorsportstrucking2298 That attitude should cost them some truck sales kind of shortsighted in my opinion

13:55 -- That bridge is the Francis Scott Key bridge on I-695. From Curtis Bay/Brooklyn, you would go that way to get to points north, or northeast towards I-95 and northeastern MD and DE. I can't count how many times I spent on that bridge when working as a sales rep/mgr covering the Mid-Atlantic area. Really enjoying this video of the old homefront. Thanks! Pastor Dean

That's one nice looking truck! I saw the same truck in black on another channel here and that was sweet too! Don't know which looks better? Volvo for North America looks much better than Volvo for Europe. The streets here in Europe are very narrow though. I've seen a few American Rigs here in Europe, but they're not made for these streets?! Cool video.

That's the Key bridge, look to your right a few miles down the bay that't the big one, Chesapeake bay bridge.

I drive a 1 ton GMC van over that thing at least once a month. The bumps on that bridge in a wind storm are enough to make you white knuckle the wheel in the left lane. I wish that MDOT/SHA would do something about that issue. Bad enough that you feel like if you had to do an EM maneuver that you would go over the side. Snow storms make you pray.

Man disappointing seeing so many big rig automatics. I learned to drive a stick pickup years ago. Love stick. If you can drive manual transmission and a truck, you can go anywhere and drive anything.
