First, Great review. I Bought my T5 Polestar inscription pro 2020 model last July. It no longer has electric drop down seats in the comfort pack, in the UK anyway, which isn’t a deal breaker. B&W sound is phenomenal and so is the drive. Every option bar the tow bar. What a car in onyx black. So happy with my purchase and like said before, it blew away the completion on almost every point. Excellent value and excellent service by my local Volvo showrooms after sales.

We just bought a 2020 XC60 T5 Momentum for the wife a couple of days ago, and she loves it, and so do I. For those of you that are considering other makes besides Volvo, the wife's previous vehicle was Mercedes Benz (our third MB) and we shopped the Lexus NX, Acura RDX, Cadillac XT, the brand new Lincoln Corsair and Mercedes GLC. Volvo wasn't even on our radar when we were out shopping and we decided to stop at a Volvo dealer on our way to another brand. Needless to say, after test driving and closely examining the XC 60 both of us were sold. If you are like us that never considered Volvo before, do a yourself a big favor and check out what Volvo has to offer. I think you will be pleasantly surprised. And if matters, the current Volvo XC60 being sold in the U.S is made in Sweden, not China.

Thanks for the comment! It's a great value, super comfortable car. I want to get back into one soo 🙂

Great, the car is so stylish and wonderful. I've been in Chinese built Volvos, long wheel-base s60s from 2015 with 85,000 to 100,000 miles on them. I've been in Swedish and Belgium made Volvos. There was no difference. I looked closely. They drove well and felt tight with no more creaks than any other Volvo. The US is making the s60 and will make the brand-new, generation 3 xc90 to be introduced in 2022. I don't know how the designers can top this generation. These really raised the bar high.

Not sure, but I don’t think any world delivered Volvo is made in China, apart from the ones sold in China. You do know it’s Chinese owned, don’t you.
@benjaminsmith22874 жыл бұрын
@@martinharrington2163 There are definitely Chinese built Volvos for the USA and other marketw. It started with the long wheelbase version of the previous generation s60. the s90, starting in 2018, went to an all long wheelbase version and every s90 for the US market since is made in China. In my opinion, Geely has let Volvo be Volvo but a decision has been made to make some Volvos, and it seems all Polestar cars, in China.

Temp control is awkward. Using the voice control is always reliable and safer to use though.

Its a pain in the ass to have to use voice control. You should be able to do it in 2 seconds!

Hmm. Half decent review. One major thing that really annoyed me though, was a cinematic one. You flipped the view when you were showing the pieces to camera whilst driving which implied that you were driving a left hand drive car. I know you weren’t, and I know you flipped the image, but why? Didn’t make sense to me. ( sorry, I’m a retired film industry person) so I notice these things. It will be interesting to see your Skoda Kodiaq review because to my mind, it competes very favourably with the Volvo at about $30,000 less.

Thanks Martin, have a look at my newer videos - my videography is far better and it's improving, now using external recorders, colour grading, etc (I'm only an amateur 😉)

MattBrandCars will do Matt. Keep up the good work. I have an MY19 Skoda Kodiaq, which I love, hence my comment, so I’m looking forward to see your review on the RS. I’d like to see you review the standard full spec Kodiaq to at some stage too. Value for money, it’s definitely an underrated car.

Something about this review is strange to me. The static shots appear to have been done in a right-hand drive car. The driving shots, though, appear to be left-hand drive. Huh? Enjoyed the humor and the lack of focus on performance, which honestly isn't a huge factor for most of us looking at an SUV.
@CarSauce4 жыл бұрын
So for this video, part of it was filmed on my phone which flips around the footage automatically hence the difference! New videos are done mostly on my DSLR now and are more fluid 🙂
@martinharrington21634 жыл бұрын
For some reason, the video at those points has been flipped. Very confusing and unnecessary. Also the video quality leaves a lot to be desired.
