The formats for a background image file are JPG, PNG, TGA, BMP, or GIF. You will see the demonstration on how to set a background image at 2:32 in the video. Navigate to the image location and choose the file to place a background image.

​@@openvspvideos5394 I had the same problem and couldn't set the background image，I tried png, jpg images as background images but nothing changed. Only the background color can be changed normally. I've also tried downloading different versions of openvsp, all without success. I can't understand why this is the case.

In addition to the picture format requirements, the picture name can only use English letters or numbers, and pictures named in other languages ​​cannot be opened.

OpenVSP is mostly dimensionless -- the units are whatever you want them to be. Some of the analysis tools need dimensional inputs -- but they just need to be done in a consistent manner.
