If your not sponsored by yamaha yet, you should be. You are the minority in mountain/tree riding. But your really showing what those sleds can do with good riders. Love it and keep it up.

I almost Bought one of these mtx’s but wen I seen em at the dealer and tried lifting the back end wow it was heavy. Even sitting on it and leaning side to side it felt so heavy only pro riders can ride like you man this sled is only for a very skilled rider
@TheKimmey2815 жыл бұрын
Try One in the Snow u Will be suprised how easy they are to handle, back end? Weighs about the same as any 2 stroke out there, in the front its heavier and its really easy to tip on the Side when the shocks are set Up correctly. My advice is to test One in the deep powder and u Will change your mind. Thats what i did. Rode brp for 11 years before i bought My sidewinder.

It is not so heavy what people say. Actually it is quite easy and light to ride. But that 270hp really rips and your forearm have to be good physical shape!

Sounds like a roaring lion going up the hill, sweet exhaust! Have you changed any parts off it to lose weight?
@Janzkak19 күн бұрын
@@Outdoors-and-Sports Actually I have not trying to lose weight but I like lower seat so that is also much lighter than stock. And also this maptun stage kit drops weight even it was not my purpose :)

Just wow. Can you explain why you choose Yamaha ? You have got to be very tired at the end of the day.
@Janzkak5 жыл бұрын
I'm as tired like driving 2stroke but my the forearm gets more tired than 2stroke because this thing pulls half better! Treeriding is almost and only techic. I can drive more difficult places with this than ever new stock 2 stroke sled.

@@Janzkak In the states we have precision efi, hurricane performance and turbo Dynamics, or should I say Canada
@brandenjoseph6045 жыл бұрын
@@murdered1415 precision efi is the way to go for 998t. They kill the shootout events and have by far the best build quality of the 3. But they are all safe. Biggest issue with the 998t is not the tuners, it's the sled itself.

Does the sled feel heavy as it looks? That front end comes down something fierce, I want to try one for a minute.

Nah you can easily lift the front end by hand. Even my 600cc Lynx does "wheelies" easy and its a long frame 3m+
@groggentv67965 жыл бұрын
It's pretty heavy, i went from a 146 Summit SP to a 153 Sidewinder with 260Hp, Rode it 2 times in very technical terrain and then switched to a polaris khaos, sure they are the best sleds if you are running up a steep mountain or having fun down a mire, some people might have it easier on the sidewinder but it was nothing for me. And i tried lighten it with skinz bumpers and hood etc but still. I'd say try one before you are buying one!
