I know right. I use to never even care for lions, they were just killing machines in my mind. Now that Kevin opened up this whole new world with these lions. I absolutely love lions now. They are the coolest cats and show such love to him, of course. I totally want to help these beautiful animals now.

What amazes me the most about these videos are Kevin's words of thanks at the end. Even with all our love and support (and we are a passionate group!), I always feel that what he gives to us is so much more. How else would we be able to have such an honest, heartfelt and very up-close insight into the lives of these amazing creatures? And before Kevin, who would have thought it was even possible? They will always be wild. they can turn on you in a second. It will take maybe hundreds of generations to possibly domesticate. Not just Lions, but other big cats , Hyenas and so on.

I just watched the vid of lion communication. I met my mutt cat at the local shelter and as soon as I walked in the door he started yelling at me. The rest of the cats just sat there, but he grabbed me as I got close to the cage and mumbled and rambled on at me. I came back a couple of days later to adopt him and he never shut up. In the first weeks I had him we had a conversation of 32 back and forth meows, burps and yodels that left me laughing my ass off. He still yodels and teases the heck out of Jezebel my dog, still crazy after all these years. Cheers Lion Whisperer. Animals bring so much love to us.

Soo wonderful to see the furry babies from a few years ago. I love to see the lions sharing their joy for an enrichment walk with the others, lol. Seeing Kevin hang out with the adorable and amazing hyenas, and spending time with the sleek and beautiful black leopards. That was really brilliant, see the girls pay attention to the plane flying overhead. Gabby loves playing with her guys, Kevin and Bobcat! Poor Yame, I'm happy Kevin helped him calm down and enjoy spending time with George and Kevin. Seeing the lions and hyenas play and enjoy life, and Kevin snuggling with Bobcat. I've cried for Kevin's furry friends that crossed the rainbow bridge. I wish with all my heart, I could visit Kevin and his furry babies! The hardest part of this year apart from dealing with COVID-19 was the lose of all the animals in the wild and in the sanctuary. Hearing the lose of Amy was so difficult. Every video and picture I sure of Amy made my cry for about 2 weeks. I wish you Kevin, all the staff and all the animals in the sanctuary a very Happy New Year. Sometimes, very rarely, the stars align and a person gets chosen by life, by their choices, to work with something they're perfectly suited for and love to do, have passion for, and makes a stamp in history. Thereafter their work is looked upon as a standard to reach for and achieve. We've all seen and been in contact with people that have important jobs, yet they hate, like teachers, doctors, police officers, etc.. and a few of us meet that one person, perhaps a teacher, that loves what they do and inspires you to levels you could never achieve on your own. I think we can all agree that Kevin is a core example of what I'm talking about and he has for sure faced more tough choices and hardships than most because of that and yet, he's still here, still doing what he loves and takes care of the people working for him and most of all the animals he is protecting and cherish. Finding that something you love to do everyday is something everyone should strive for because no matter how tough it is, no matter what obstacles you face, in the end you'll still be able to wake up every morning and do that one thing you love - and through your hardships you will find happyness and inspire others to do the same, just like Kevin is an inspiration for me.
