Thank you for bringing this kind of interview. I'm fr Canada, visiting my homeland often, love it. I hear a lot of negative stories about people going back to Laos trying to build something there and only to come back empty-handed and along with bad feelings and negatives talks. I am so glad to hear the success stories that people don't see or hear about.

I think you should go there and try to invest of your dollars big or small businesses.I will feel and taste their soups.Maybe,You should like it.For me,I will never trust them and believe what ever their announcements.Lao PDR is freedom for investing private business or involve with the government itself. The Lao dictatorship and the China communist will never tell you the truth.I am not opposed to anyone who wanted doing their businesses around the world. But for me not in laos. Those crooked are among themselves and you cannot beat them. You will never win as your dreams about. You only lose it to them.I am speaking truth and telling people who do not know should learn and research before spending your big bucks to the crooked, corruption and racketeering.( Warning to the Bruv).

@@kongdaraseng1773 I Hear you. When was the last time you went to Laos? Corruption etc. had existed long before we left our homeland as refugees, does corruption only exist in Laos? Lao is moving forward, good or bad only time will tell.

Slowly but surely is a great start for the Lao government to open up for smart and talented people like him to help improve the life of the locals, not like the Chinese that they only hire their own people:
I met him quite often ten years ago when his kids were younger while living in the Chicago suburb. Glad to see those kids grew up taking on the family business. The only thing I see wrong in this image is that nobody should associate "saint" with a business especially when you have nothing to do with the ecclesiastical institute. It's a curse to use such nomenclature in a business. It has a nice ring to it, the name, but it is not a proper name for a convention hall or venue. I can attest to that none of Philavong family member is a Saint.
