Yes because of Nigeria's disobedience. Nigeria has been going through judgment because the church in Nigeria has forgotten God and has been worshipping money and riches. And since the Church in Nigeria loves money than God, God has handed us over to leaders who also love money more than the people (corruption). Buhari is not necessarily God's choice, but Buhari is being used for the last phase of Judgment in Nigeria. Just like whenever Israel disobeyed God, God would hand over the Israelites to their enemies, bad government, slavery, exile etc. But after the nation of Israel repented and went through their judgment, their nation would get righteous leaders and they flourished again. After him will come a righteous, God fearing person in office who will turn Nigeria around and bring her into her destiny. I have had dreams about Nigeria's future and it was amazing.

What and what qualifications President Buhari as Cyrus of Nigeria? Before you call someone a Cyrus, you must ask "Who was Cyrus?" First, you must know that The military under Buhari are under instruction not to intervene in any carnage going on in Christian communities until enough damages have been done and until the oppressed start to defend themselves. This is what is being done continuously in Southern Kaduna and Plateau State and Benue State. It is a systematic genocide going on. Before the election of 2014, some people told us that Buhari was being sent by God as Cyrus to bring peace and economic transformation to Nigeria. But Nigerian has never been so destroyed by any past government as this. Who Was Cyrus and What was His mandate? Was he sent as a punishment to God's people as some say God sent a "Cyrus" to punish Nigeria because the church is corrupt? The Cyrus I see in the Bible was a builder of the city of God and not a destroyer of the villages and habitations of God's people. The Cyrus we know in Bible ended the Babylonian captivity of God's people and asked them to return to their ancestral land. He is not a ruler under who the ancestral lands of people are being taken over and he looks the other way. The Cyrus of history ordered that the House of God that was destroyed before he took over government be rebuilt. He sponsored the building of God's Temple by sending money and building materials for this. He is not the one under whose nose many houses of God have been burnt down by his tribesmen and he pretends he does not see or know. His spokesmen even deny that God's people are being destroyed. Jewish tradition says the Cyrus we celebrate as a lover of God's people who came to fulfil prophecy was a son of Queen Esther. So, he wasn't a complete unbeliever as we often suppose a Cyrus to be. Cyrus was not from the seed of the avowed haters of God's people. God's people had no reason to groan under a Cyrus. Today, the people of God are targeted for the slaughter in Nigeria. Many of our missionaries have been gunned down and many Christian communities burnt down. If this is a Cyrus of some people, he is certainly not a Biblical Cyrus, not a Cyrus of history, but a horn sponsored from another kingdom. As far as we are concerned in Nigeria, Buhari is not a Cyrus by any Biblical definition. He is a tragedy of democracy, an election error. Many of those who sponsored him have regretted. Pastor Tunde Bakari who was part of those who thought Buhari was a Cyrus, has openly declared he was in error. But a few others who have discovered their errors won't be humble enough to admit this. May God have mercy on those who sponsored Buhari directly and indirectly to bring the calamities upon Nigeria. But they must repent before God have mercy on them.
