The stones are one of the most iconic bands on the planet, I’ve listened to their music since the 60s and they never disappoint!

well said, I was thinking the same thing when I saw the recording....it is crazy how many decades they have been around....long before I was even born.....and their music is absolutely timeless....current generations should definitely consider doing something so that the future generations will know about this amazing artists....it would totally be a shame if they would be forgotten with time....

I grew up with them being a teenager in the 60s, they were doing a concert in my town and stopped me to ask where they could get something to eat, the music was brilliant in the 🇬🇧. These boys and there music will live on forever.

Met the Stones backstage in Baltimore when they headlined the Tour. With Jimi Hendrix. I was a Stones fan since 1965. They Will always keep me rocking .

I was there on the 17th, my first time seeing them live, I cannot explain how I felt when I heard “ladieeeeees and gentlemen…the rolling stones!!!!” This was certainly on my bucket list, so much that I went to see them for a second time in Las Vegas 3 weeks later, cried both times, specially when they sang “MISS YOU” 🤟🏻😭🤟🏻
@dennycranium3 жыл бұрын
I've watched all the shows on KZbin. I've seen this band over 50 times since 1981. What I can say about this tour is how consistently EXCELLENT they've been playing. Playing as a band and their individual playing. I miss Charlie as much as anyone, but Steve Jordan with his slightly faster tempos have given these songs an edge we haven't heard in a long time. Jumping Jack Flash has rocked, HARD, on pretty much every show.
@Henry.583 жыл бұрын
Being a Veteran of many Stones shows, All I have to say is they sound better this trip than the last tour. Until you've seen these guys up close and personal ....say the first 20 to 30 rows ,you can't appreciate the sound and theatre In my opinion. Greatest Rock N Roll Band still IMO !! Although I haven't seen them 50 times!! I haven't missed a tour from 75 till now ! See ya in Austin Boys !

I'm 24 and can only wish I got to see them as many times as yall have. I'm taking my dad to a concert soon and can't wait for us to see them for the first time! Its amazing how they are still going since when? 1962? I knew that there's a chance they won't be around much longer so I bought the tickets its now or never. I was never like my classmates and other people in my generation. They all listen to rap I personally can't stand it but I love classic rock n roll nothing beats it and the stones are what I consider the best. I really hope me and my dad will have a great time and truly see a great performance despite their age.
@timbernardis59803 жыл бұрын
You are precisely accurate when you say consistently excellent -- I saw the opener in St. Louie (one of the 7 or 8 greatest shows of the 61 I've seen since '75), Pittsburgh, and this show one week ago tonight in pit 2 on Keith's side and they have all been fantastic, and consistently so. Consistency is the word that has been floating in my head of late and you really captured that when you used that word! plexi

is it a faster tempo that steve jordan is playing at ??? i have noticed a hell of a lot of differance in the drumming myself , and it seems to me to have a lot less bass and heavy sound that charlie got and was his trade mark , to me it sounds like a drummer just keeping time , i cant put my finger on it , but can tell the differance big time , maybe he has his drums tuned a lot differant to have his own sound , if he has its working , and to me i miss the heavy bass of charlies drums alot

I have seen the Stones live two times. the first time was when Prince opened up for them and got booed off the stage, on the floor there were no seats. when the Stones came out the entire audience of thousands of people rushed as close as they could to the stage, I was right up in front maybe around thirty feet from the stage, and I was packed in like a sardine. every time Jagger would strut across the stage the entire audience would try to follow him, and I could literally pick up my feet and be carried twenty feet to the left and then twenty feet to the right, it was crazy, but a good show, and then I saw them again many years later. and the band seemed even better then the first time, and watching this video they really seem to be in good form, and Jagger is sounding better than many shows in the past. its like the entire band is still enjoying themselves and the great songs never die. the Stones still got it after all these years.

I was there too!!! How about when that big biker threw the bottle that hit Prince's bass player, (which stopped the show) made his way onto the stage and how it took a bunch of guys to tackle him. When I look at them, I'm more at how relatively unaffected by time they seem to be, at least in terms of how they sound. There's no way around it - Mick is 78, Keith will be next month, Ron is 74, and Charlie's gone. As they said in the '70s, time waits for no one, and I don't expect them to look the same as they did when I first saw them in 1989...But for them to be those ages and still sound the way they do - so loud and alive - it's pretty incredible.
