Blown away, no big music and glammor, easy to follow, professional, and fixes issues the manufacturer should have already fixed!

Quite impressive for someone your age. However, I'd like to note a couple of things: (1) your start gcode is crazy excessive, the abl saves the mesh therefore running it before every print is unnecessary; and (2) the screw you say to tighten if experiencing underextrusion will NOT effect the grip on the filament, the screw that should be adjusted is the one to the left of it [take it apart or watch creality's video].

Thanks for your comment and pointing out the errors, this really helps me make better videos.

@@AuroraTech You're a bright kid with a good attitude. You're videos are well produced and have quality content. They're honestly better than most. If the 3d printing audience (which I'd assume is mostly adult males) can get past gender and age biases and objectively view your content, you'll be a fulltime youtuber before you graduate high school. Best of luck building your knowledge and channel. edit: check out the community firmware's documentation there's a link to the lead dev's blog that provides an excellent start gcode for this model. edit 2: damsteen.nl/blog/2021/02/11/creality-cr6-community-firmware-start-print-without-drooping

Great video, I have had my CR6-Max since November here in Belgium and have seen just about every CR-6 related video, and this is the best one yet, keep up the good work.

Thank you for validating me! I'm newer to 3D printing and was mansplained hard that it's not relevant if the nozzle AND bed are heated, which made no sense to me!

Great video. I have a CR-6 and didn’t experience any of the bed leveling issues. My bed leveling was .00502 after minor adjustments. Also, just use the community firmware and most of your issues will go away.

Impressed again how comprehensive this young lady tackles details. In a very professional manner. Your format is very good but i think being a little loose will also help keep audience engaged. P.s. the blooper reels are entertaining :)

Your KZbin video are absolute amazing. I have a question for you, I can’t seem to find the Z axis synchronous belt or even a kit which would include the leadscrew, belt and upper belt guides. I have seen kits for CR10S which includes everything. I have also seen a kit to add another Z axis leadscrew for the ender 3 but can’t find a replacement kit for the CR-6 SE. Even if I search for the individual pieces for a CR-6 SE Dual Z Axis Lead Screw Upgrade Kit I would not know the dimensions of the leadscrew or the correct belt size and type and the belt guides. I did find the brass guides but none of the other parts. Would you know a source(s) to get these parts. Thanks!

You are right that the community firmware is better for the CR-6. However, after installing it, the bed heating never worked again... I haven't printed for months, it's becoming annoying...
@AuroraTech
@AuroraTech 3 жыл бұрын
Make sure you check the board version, that is caused by incorrect board version, I have the same issue(both hotend and bed not heating) with the firmware downloaded from creality3dofficial.com, but after upgraded to community firmware or using the one from creality.com, it works normally. You may try the version that match your board or go back to the stock firmware(still need to match your board version).

Great video, I got a used CR6 SE just to learn and try before a move to another printer, the printer is connected to a Raspberry Pi using Octoprint, I'm having an issue: even from Octoprint or from the SD card, when the printer is about to start to print it moves from left corner back to the center to start to print and when it is about to start to print it goes back to the left back corner and the extruder starts to retract the filament, I keep pushing the filament inside again and when the printer is about to start to print it goes again to the left back corner and the extruder retract the filament, there is no clog, I can extrude filament pushing it manually or from the Octoprint, I even bought a new heat block thinking that maybe the sensor is not working well but the printer keeps doing the same thing. Also I'm getting a "message from the printer: FilamentRunout T0", this message only shows on the Octoprint browser not on the actual CR6 SE screen. The printer have the community firmware and I'm thinking if it is a good idea to factory reset the printer then try to print to see what happens and then upgrade to community firmware again. Please help and share your opinion. Thank you.

Hi Aurora, very good video. I bought a CR-6 SE and today I received it but it won't read the files that I copied to the SD card. The printer only reads the supplied files located on the SD card. You can help me? Thanks in advance.

I have 2 Creality CR-10S Pro V2, they print very nice out of the box. I don’t have any complaints at all, apart from the slightly high price, which is $599. You may take a look at: Creality CR-10S Pro V2: www.creality3dofficial.com/products/cr-10s-pro-v2-3d-printer?sca_ref=921909.HkA8hSSCxR (Affiliate Link)

Upgrade to community firmware or connect the printer to your computer using pronterface for PID tuning, just type a few lines of Gcode. PID tuning: support.th3dstudio.com/hc/guides/diy-guides/p-i-d-hotend-calibration-guide/

Yes, I think the CR-6SE is better than any Ender 3, you may also take a look of the Sovol SV01 which is also beginner friendly.

I bought it from creality3dofficial.com using their $60 coupon($399-$60=$339). But seems the coupon is not available anymore, you may ask them about that and see if they can extend the promo.

@@AuroraTech how’s the costumer service because I heard it was bad. And how long did it take to ship?
@AuroraTech
@AuroraTech 3 жыл бұрын
For my order, it took around 4-5 days to arrive, they shipped from their warehouse in the US. Their service is ok, they response to my emails, sometimes within a day, sometimes longer, but for 3D printers, you can normally fix some minor issues by yourself. When I get into an issue, I just search online, I can always see other people having the same issue and see how they fix it.
