I’m waiting for my parts now! Can’t wait, everything I bought came to $502 and paid an extra $12 for Amazon prime for faster delivery. The graphics card on the other hand was more expensive which came out to $252, with shipping included. People are constantly bidding on them and you’ll be lucky to get it at 220-250 with shipping included. So this built actually costed me $766, still happy for it. Hopefully this comment helps someone trying this out!

I'm gonna build a pc and I don't think I'll be building it any time soon because parts are expensive since chip shortage, caused by covid19. Once the prices get lower, I'll start to buy the parts and build one myself, the thing is I think I'd be scared to build it because I might mess it up, I'm going to get an AMD Ryzen 5 5600x with a GTX 1650 4gb, 16gb ram and a case that they had used in one of their videos.

Just built this PC and wow is it satisfying to finish it!! Thanks toastybros!! The only things I did change was get an i5 10 gen CPU and a GIGABYTE GTX 1050 Ti. Since the Radeon was sold out and people on eBay were trying to scalp you for $200 for it ugh..very satisfied with my build it’s great for a beginner like me. Definitely recommend building this PC you won’t regret it! Due to rona prices are high, so I’d suggest to wait on prices to drop before getting it..but if you wanna just got for it like I did, more power to you! I dropped about $900 in total >.

Was looking to get my 13 year old grandson his first gaming computer but was laid off two months ago and found I couldn't afford a real one, then I came across your video and thought this is great, not only can I now afford to build one, but I could also get him into building computers, we could build it together. I am an old timer so I am use to building them back in the jurassic period! But while searching with your links for the parts, most of them are much more in cost, in fact, the MUETEX ATX Tower there was only one opetion for that particular one at $339.99 and the cheapest I could find the TForce RAM was on NewEgg for $94.99, which you said was $20.00. The MSI Motherboard you stated should be under $80.00, but the lowest price I found for that was $151.44 on NewEgg and Amazon wanted 203.99. The i3 Intel Processor was more than you had paid, it was $127.99 at NewEgg. And as for the Crucial P2 500GB which you paid $50.99, it is now $59.99. So I'm looking at $578.27 not counting the $339.99 ATX MUSETEX Tower. $500 was pushing it for me, there is no way I can go cloe to $1000, I have eight grandchildren and like I said I am laid off and not getting that much income these days.

@@fish2739 Yeah, I didn't know the situation of the lack of GPU's at the time, but since then I found out about crypto mining and the shortage of GPU's and so on. No big deal, thanks anyway, I ended up finding a prebuilt (an old Dell with some new old stock parts) just under $500, it doesn't have the latest GPU, or anything special, but runs good for him. I even purchased a decent title game for him to try on it, but he never took it out of the box, he prefers to play Fortnite and Mindcraft, with Fortnite running really good on it he said.

3400G is a good choice, its an APU so you dont need a gpu so you can invest that money to something else

Using a larger than needed power supply will reduce case temperature. Larger power supplies are normally more efficient than their smaller counterparts.

I’m really considering this! It seems so much cheaper then buying a prebuilt and a lot easier than I would’ve guessed. I really need a new computer as my laptop has been failing me for gaming and pretty much all else.
