Nice! I had no idea but I dropped mine unloading it the other day and had a heck of a time starting it. When it DID start, lots of white smoke and then the check engine light came on. I let it warm up, turned it off, let it sit a little bit, restarted (immediately) and light was gone. i thought maybe I had water down the pipe (it had rained that night with the bike in the back of the truck) but now I bet this was a flooded cannister.

Lol that fitting would not go in the frame, I cut the threads off the elbow and slathered some gasket maker on it and shoved it into the frame. Nice vid!

Could you use the bolt already on the head and just seal it somehow? Just curious.

Yes. They sell rubber port caps at auto parts stores, or you could just leave a short section of hose on the fitting and stick a bolt in the end.

It captures fuel vapors rather than let them escape into the air.
