We’ve been towing 2.4T van with X5s for about 10 years. E70, F15 30d and now G05 M50d. With 294kW/760Nm it’s a beast and still very economical at about 15L/100km.

I use my KIA Carnival 2021 2.2Diesel to tow Jayco 15.48 pop top with 1940 kg ATM. I have also installed Anderson weight distribution kit and the tow is extremely smooth without any sway or pitch. The efficiency is about 12.5 L/100km that gives me a range of 550Kms. The car has a payload of 750kg, tow capacity of 2000kg and max tow ball of 200kg. It would be great if you can review and post your professional feedback.

big whoop I tow a 7700lbs trailer with a 2024 X5 Xdrive4.0 and was just traded from a 2020 that i did the same thing for two years full time

Nice Vehicle, it's a shame about how quickly they update the models as they really lose value quickly as opposed to their Japanese counterparts.

Great point. That's why I bought my 35d three years old used for less than half the new price while it still had some original warranty on it. That was three trouble free years ago. So happy.

I have a 2023 X5 30d M Sport that we are about to tow a caravan with. Would anyone be able to advise of what would be the best mirror extensions to use?

Big fans of the Milenco mirrors. They do a few options and we've never had an issue with them.

Too bad repairs are so costly. Not practical for a growing family. And many of these need costly repairs during their life. This is a "no" for me.

They come with a 7 seat option, how big is this family? "Costly repairs" if you do no maintenance and never get it serviced, what would you expect?
