2021 Boat Buyers Guide: Starcraft SVX 190 OB

I'm thinking about buying this boat. I hope it's reliable. I'm between this and the Yamaha 195s which is an inboard motor so two pretty different boats. Hard decision.

That's my quandry as well. I'm leaning towards the SVX since it only uses 5.1 gph at cruise. The yamaha uses 10.7 gph at cruise! That's a big difference in gas. Both use yamaha engines so i would expect similar reliability

@@kittyle well I’m actually about to buy my 2021 SVX 191 OB today lol. For the same main reason you mentioned and a couple others. I’m pretty excited about it. It’ll be my first boat

So i'm basically buying this exact same boat. Only main difference is my 2021 SVX 191 OB doesn't have the other captain's chair and instead the bench wraps all the way around on that side. I was told by some guys on a boating forum to watch out for water coming in over the bow... My SVX 191 OB will also have the Yamaha 150, I'm curious if you think the water over the bow will be a problem? It kind of has me worried

I'm paying between $45k-50k OTD but I also have some additional options on mine. It says MSRP on mine is around $41,500k but after taxes and other stuff (minus some add ons) it's like $46k
