Nice to see that 25,000 miles hasn’t dampened your enthusiasm for your car! I’m probably the only subscriber that’s impressed by your 32 miles per gallon on the highway. When gas is four bucks a gallon it can be pretty sweet on a long cruise. In my challenger RT I get about 31 as well on the highway if I keep it below 72 mph. thanks for another great review!

Great car. I'd like to drive or own one of these last Camaros. I have a customized tor (bright) red 2010 Challenger RT 6spd with a Procharger as a summer hot rod. And yeah, it actually seemed to get better milage with the blower, So smiles per gallon seem unbelievably good being manual, and it taking nearly no rpm to get going, I am guilt free when I do downshift and play with that sweeet sweet sounding free breathing 5.7 that sounds better than the longer stroke 6.4 when wound up.

All the rideshare and delivery platforms have contributed to a increase in accidents by over 37% in all cities using these services and well as increases in traffic congestion by 31-40% and pollution in those areas by 15%.

Nice video. Curious if you do your own maintenance and, if so, what are oil changes like?
@WTFCRLT1
@WTFCRLT1 2 жыл бұрын
I don’t do my own oil changes but it uses 10 quarts of either 0W-40 or 5W-30 so it’ll be pricy. The dealership charged me $220 for an oil change but I go to meineke now and they charge $130 which is reasonable considering that the oil and filter alone cost over $80 after tax

The only real issue with the newer 2015 and on LT series engines is the cylinder deactivation aka displacement on demand that GM has tried three times before since 1980’s and the technology has failed and now we’re on try #4 and it FAILS. 4 of the 8 cylinders are inherently weak, have lifters made for a V6 not a torque monster V8 and weak valves, thus causing failure of these parts in the entire LT engine line from 2015 onward, especially the 5.3 and much more so the 6.2 in the SUV’s/trucks and performance cars, sadly. And they’re trying to usher in EV’s which is all about control and $$$, not going green, spare me on that. I was a electrical/mechanical engineer and worked for an EV manu. I know how these things work, and can say with 100% confidence that a hybrid power plant in vehicles whether hydro- electric/regenerative or bio-natural gas, or future nuclear are the only ways forward from a emissions standpoint and that applies to everything using an engine for power. Electrify comes from coal and in natural gas, without these components we get no electricity. Solar and wind turbines are made with petroleum products and need oil for lubrication. You don’t want huge wind turbines blocking your views, trust me, they’re an eyesore and noisy. And solar renewables is hogwash too. While these last two (turbines and solar) are great for small populations under 20-30k, they won’t work for larger burbs and cities and be reliable. Same for the renewables nonsense. Various countries have been trying renewables for more than 18 yrs in some cases and netting barely a 3-7% improvement, basically negligible, useless. So that’s rubbish. Lastly, the US is the cleanest nation “in the world” times 7, most efficient cleanest factories and recycling, yet why is the US being punished?? Most of the pollution in CA comes from the worlds worst offender, China, yet we have sent them now over 15 million barrels of strategic reserve oil in the last 8 years AND given them $175 billion with a B, are you ready for this, so they can build 70-80 more coal plants by 2026. Their pollution levels will go up by 22-26% by 2025.

Just picked mine up 2 days ago and was curious if u ever noticed like a whirring sound when u first got the car when u accelerate. I think it’s the belt but little worried about and wanted to ask if u ever noticed anything
@WTFCRLT1
@WTFCRLT1 Жыл бұрын
Sometimes during very low acceleration there’s a slight humming sound but I think that’s because the butterfly valves are closed, when I step on it a little more the valves open and it goes away. Other than that it sounds pretty mean lol

Good review. I also watched your 10,000 Miles review in which you mentioned your fuel economy of average 22.9 MPGs. How much the average fuel consumption changed (if any) at the 25,000 Miles milestone? Thanks a lot.
@WTFCRLT1

Thank you! Currently I’m sitting at 22.5. I do a lot of Hwy driving but I also spend a TON of time idling like it’ll be just sitting there with a/c blasting for 20-40 minutes at a time at least 5-8 times a week so I personally think that 22.5 is an excellent number.

I haven’t had any issues outside of the cheap paint, and wireless Apple CarPlay sometimes not working but other than that, no issues!
