I thought the majority of the video would be dedicated to the title, but it was only like 20 seconds and more minor than I thought. Yeah, I didn't realize the plastic was on it either until I saw how some of the light was reflecting on it. Still a great video I watched more of it through than I realized, as it's very rare to find Camaro vloggers on YT (Especially LT1 owners). You should definitely make more content like this, as it seems very engaging imo.

Absolutely bro I can make a video explaining that. I’ll just tell you right now tho that you simply pull the gear lever to the “D” for drive, pull the lever to the left to the “M” for manual, then you can either shift up and down with your hand, or you can use the paddle shifters on the steering wheel. Yes, in auto mode you can use your gas pedal to downshift. In manual mode, you can use your +/- on your gear selector, or paddle shifters on the steering wheel.

I’m heavily looking into purchasing a LT1 and advice when dealing with the dealership? The sticker price is 38’905 how much do u think I could negotiate down ?

That’s a tough question for me to answer right now. A lot of dealers are unfortunately price gouging right now, especially Chevy with the Camaro since the factory’s were shut down causing limited supply. If I went solely off my experience and market, My msrp was around that same price, and could’ve probably ended up close to $30k BEFORE taxes and fees. I talked about my buying process in a video but this market is not the same. I’ve had people comment that they’ve paid 42k for a used lt1 with 30k miles on it recently. If I pull a number out of you know where, I’d say anything under 35k right now would be a great deal😂

As far as dealerships, don’t commit to a dealer until you have an offer from another dealer that you like. Start far away and call or email dealers until you find a deal you like. Once you agree to a potential deal over the phone that you like, you now have leverage to negotiate with any dealer in your area for that same price. I personally used the old “these guys accepted this deal but they’re an hour and a half away. Y’all are 15 min away. If you accept this deal you 100% have my business.” They may not accept the deal, but worst case scenario you drive a couple hours to go get the car for your price. It’s a bunch of steps but it’ll definitely save you money long term.

Purchased mine last year during covid. Financed a 2021 A10 LT1 with only the NPP. Came out to 35,000. I guess I was dumb enough to get the 5yr/100k extended warranty which put me at 39,000 with 2.8% interest. Monthly payment is 550 and insurance is 70 per month. Recently I got offered 40k from carmax. I'm gonna say wait until market is good again. unless you want to pay 5k more for one.

I’d recommend saving enough money to be able to comfortably put down $5-10k don’t spend all your money on a down payment in case something happens to the car early on. I ended up doing a 0 down lease so I didn’t need to save anything but would’ve done what I told you if I could find a 6-speed in my area haha thanks for the comment!

Thanks for the comment I really appreciate the support. Lmk when you get the car! The radar detectors are only illegal in Virginia and Washington state. Outside of those states, the worst that can happen is the cop gets pissed when he sees it and gives you an obstruction of view ticket but that’s never happened to me. If you get pulled over with the radar (shouldn’t happen often with a good detector), I’d just leave it hanging because 9/10 times the cop will see you moving stuff around and it’s gonna make the cop way more suspicious. I personally still use my first radar which is the beltronics vector v940 I think but I’ll probably be going with something from uniden shortly. Super happy with my beltronics but I don’t believe they make my model anymore.

Not really. You gotta use slightly more gas pedal on the highway but as soon as you start leaning into it, it switches back to 8 cylinder mode.
