Exactly. Percival knocked it on for a start, and the Grace jumped from outside the field of play. Never a try.

@@vdw5k94 the last foot that left the ground was the foot that was in play and either way that try wasn’t the decider. Not taking anything away from cas, they played outstanding in the heat all props to them

I was there! Great day for the Saints. Cas run out of ideas and energy in the second half but put up a great fight and were difficult to shake off.

Absolutely no one does it anymore, the ref can choose to penalise a player but no one does it anymore so it’s just become part of the game

Cas might not have won anyway but Moore and indeed Kendall as VR had a shocking bias for Tellins. Were Saints ever onside throughout the 80? As for that try were the ball clearly went forward off Percival never mind that the winger (Grace) never got back into the field of play (thus the ball is in touch), an absolute disgrace. Cas's first try was absolutelt glorious, it was a superb game by both sides, spoilt by the yet again sub par officiating.

It might sounds like a minor little thing but Cas fans knew the writing was on the wall when Cas asked the RFL if we could play in our Yellow strip considering it was the hottest day of the year but no, they insisted that we played in our Black Kit, while Saints got to play in White. It may sound like a bad excuse but try walking around in that sun with a black shirt on. Its no wonder energy levels were low.

hard to see Salford ex-players playing elsewhere when we should be there but they stopped us being a big club when we had rich owner so the same teams kept at the top. corruption again that's why I don't go to games anymore
