Cool! I agree with you that the lower headlight in the bumper is misplaced. However I believe you'd need to make the headlights larger on the traverse in order to meet functional nhsta regulations. How would you incorporate that in this design?

fyi the bumper lights have a reason for the location. new standard for safety now are taking headlight in consideration. If the light tend to blind or doesn't illuminate the road like the new standard requires they don't get top safety rating. the easiest way to do it is by lowering the headlights.

Yes and it is a great rule. I can’t tell you how many times I have been blinded by on coming cars with super high power LED headlights. This was an issue with regular bulbs but they were as bright so it wouldn’t matter too much.

Hey SketchMonkey, did you know that the lower lamp is the main headlamp? Looks kind of neat now but when you build your design in real then it will look too empty. Nice work!

Looks awesome.. I actually have a Chevy traverse 2010 LT model upgraded with 20' Snowflake Wheels and my wheels actually stick out like your design. Looks really aggressive. I think you can put a black air intake vent on the front bumper just all it will not look so plain. Still the design looks great.

I still feel these are better than the Hyundai Kona cause these kinda look like they are in place of a vent (what would be a fake vent anyway), but on that car they really look out of place.

The front of the hood slopes too low. I think if the shoulder line stayed straight and the hood slope was not so pronounced it would look a lot better

This design looks great but it is not functional because the headlights are not bright enough. The headlights are way too narrow to provide enough light. But I really like the aggressive design!

.... I think pretty much all of your designs are great improvements that add some much needed flare! BUT I cant say the same about this one. Was a redesign needed? I think the 2021 Traverse looked really good actually. The wheels make it look great but I dont think the front facia changes were required. Now it just looks like the XT6, but better lol

1. you forgot to move that projector headlamp as you said earlier 2. looks too ford-ish for me 3. even the original grille doesn't looks like today's chevys' (lexus shaped grille thats chopped into 4 parts vertically, and the second piece from upward is spiced a little bit, there you have the chevy logo, the rest is just vertical horizontal grille lines), you just made it even more un-chevy-ish i mean, the redesign, looks very good as a car overall (even tho some surfaces looks a little too plain), but it just doesn't have the personality and characteristic of a chevrolet p.s. also, did you say that kia is following that daytime-headlamp trend? i mean like.. what?! you'd better say mitsubishi!

You turned the front design into a Cadillac. Other than that your changes to the wheels and wheel wells are good. GM did a very well done MCE to the Traverse, they played it safe while advancing the design to something more current.

I know you live in America and I know the global car market is flooded with SUVs, but I'd like to see less SUV redesigns on the channel. I just can't get excited about SUV designs, and the videos get a bit repetitive. Really hoping the industry gets over the SUV craze when EVs become the norm. That said, this redesign is alright, but I also think the original design is alright as well. I think Chevy is doing a better job than most with their SUV designs, and the low-headlight-placement trend - it isn't so obvious here, the DRLs still look like "eyes". I think the best change you made was the lower grille - too much black plastic in the original design, looks cheap.

One huge design problem that GM has is that they can't make a Chevy that looks "as good" as a Cadillac. So Chevys look kind of dumpy by design. Your redesign is great, but you made it look way too much like a Cadillac. GM can't do that.
