Hi Rebekah. Your mantel is the most elegant winter wonderland I've ever seen. You have such an eye for layering and making it beautiful. I have a mantel as well and love decorating it for the seasons. I bought a flocked garland at Michaels on major clearance a few years back and will be using it. You have given me ideas on how to make it look more full by adding extra picks and stems. Have a blessed day!

Hi Rebekah! Your mantle turned out beautiful! It looks like a frosty winter wonderland. The ribbon adds so much depth to the garland and is just beautiful! I love the snowflake design. Thanks for showing how you layer in pieces to your garland. It really does glam up the pine garland! I just love flocked pinecones! Can't wait to see how you decorate your bookcases! I wish I had a mantle to decorate. I see so many beautiful mantles decorated for the holidays on KZbin and Pinterest! I try to replicate some of the mantle decor ideas on my hallway console table and my tv stand with a built in fireplace. I usually love how it turns out! I just don't have the same height clearance as I would if I had a fireplace mantle. I make it work though! Lol. My fireplace tv stand is flanked on each side with my bookcases just like your fireplace is. It's one of my favorite spots to decorate! Lol.

If you use the same ribbons again for 2022 garland decoration, fold in half to find the center of the ribbons and work from the center of the garland out to either end. That way you can better judge just how small or large you can make your ribbon loops. I am decorating my own mantel with faux green garland for the first time this year, and really enjoyed watching your process, I learned a lot. Yours is beautiful, I hope mine turns out as well!
