We have a 2022 commander max XT. Awesome machine. Smooth, quiet, cool ride with engine in rear. No vibrations come thru- awesome seats. Does 70 + with 1 rider. Lots of power, fun to drive , drifts and fish tails etc.. Goes thru mud like crazy. Dump bed is nice. Honestly does everything we could hope for. Our friend’s passengers always want to ride in our machine. Like a fast limo they call it. Highly recommend it for all around fun family use or work. Towed huge lifted machines really far with ease.

My Dad has a 2013 Commander with over 5000 miles on it. I think he will love this new version and finally upgrade his current machine. I think Can Am nailed this new Commander!

Commanders been my favorite. Love my X.3 Ahrar but this is lot more trail friendly. Very nice! And so it begins LOL

@@CANAMOFFROAD I’ve had three outlanders 800s, three commanders and now my 2020 maverick X.3 RR and not one of them has ever failed me. Small issues but the dealership bend over backwards to make it right. Can’t wait to see this in person. Thanks!

I think you missed the mark making the roof rack only good for 75 pounds, is that because of the rack itself or the roll cage? Other than that, I really like this SXS.

Great looking design. Did you fix the heat issue coming in to the cab? I would assume with the engine in the back that heat would be a lot better?

Thank you. Definitely a non-issue with the redesign. Compared with the first generation, there is also greatly improved access to the engine and powertrain underneath the dump bed.

still like to know what's different with X XC models regarding heat - there's still plenty of warmth in the cabin especially when you have a full windshield.

Looks like they have taken the Maverick Sport and made it a bit longer to get the bed space, and they have also change the front design to make it look more aggressive! Looks like a very nice machine!! If pricing is right, they should sell well!

The max should have 5 seats, the Maverick has 4 and the Defender has 6. Split the difference. I bet most people get the max to take kids not full sized adults. Car seat anchors in the back would be great.

Right now I am not impressed with this new Commander, but will save my judgement when I see it on the dealer. I'm an ATV Safety instructor and visit my local dealer every month and will be able to see it for myself.

We understand the tradeoff in wheelbase, but weren't willing to compromise passenger space, dump box, or bed space. On longer rides, the full-sized rear seats really shine if you regularly bring people with you. ;)

I would have totally be interested in a machine like this with a shorter wheelbase.... These long units like the RZR and General 4’s are just too long for the trails I ride.... Oh well, sticking with the Teryx 4 for now!

The first time we saw '100 hp' and asked the engineering team, they replied with wide smiles and confidence that the Commander will arrive ready to play. ;) Those LinQ boxes can attach to vehicles across the BRP lineup, pretty neat if you ask us!

where is the tech. front and rear camera's? , where's the gps, ?where the temp. ?where the compass ?and where the clock,? I have own can am quads and side by sides, I see Polaris above you with there system, you have just redesigned the commander , the old model which I love other than the noise and water dripping on you from your roof & which you don't have a enclosed cab available for the 4 seater . If your going to redesign the commander or any of your products , you need to be better than Polaris./ I am Canadian, I want and do buy Canadian as much as possible. You have a better product, show it.

FYI Can always add SmartLok and the programming of your choice (Mud, Trail Activ, Rock) to any Commander model. We offer it as a standalone part.

@@CANAMOFFROAD no offense meant here but just about any manufacturer today offers a diff lock on base models. Selling something that should be on there anyways for an additional cost is price gouging the the consumer. Can ams accessories are already at an astronomical price... So I could only imagine what that addition cost would be. I had a 2019 trail 1000 dps camo and loved it... But the visco lock is garbage. Can am claims to listen to the consumer but still hasn't addressed the four-wheel drive.

its just a maverick sport with a dump bed. totally dropped the ball on the interior!! center console does nothing more than take up space...no armrest, storage, cup holders or anything else that people want for to have for a long days ride. whats up with the completely useless over angled dashboard?! talk about a pain in the ass to keep clean...oh and no 1 wheel "turf mode"..do these people not use the machines they design?? guess its back to polaris for me
