22:10 Frickin impressive shot by KJ! Lasering a forehand 3 feet off the ground that slowly flips down the fairway without burning into the ground is both beautiful and highly technical.

Can anyone elaborate more on why the spectators were only allowed to follow lead card, and not chase card? Just genuinely curious.
@samanthony81213 жыл бұрын
It affects the speed of play heavily.
@Johnhwbaker3 жыл бұрын
@@samanthony8121 Understandable, to a point. But 1000 people split between 2 cards is still 1000 people, right?
@samanthony81213 жыл бұрын
@@Johnhwbaker Well with everbody behind the last group they dont get in the way. Imagine if the last group has to wait for 500 people to get out of the way every hole. Play is slow enough already. Yesterdays round was over 4 hours and players will tell you long waits effect their focus and play.
@Johnhwbaker3 жыл бұрын
@@samanthony8121 I can understand that. I guess since the course is so tight and wooded, it would be tough. Sucks not being able to watch who you want, though, especially if you paid $50 for a spectator pass and made the trip out there.
@Meta-Drew3 жыл бұрын
@@samanthony8121 Last round the lead card was only on hole 12 when every other card was off the course already. Granted, that was on the open course. But it seems like sticking every single spectator to the main card would exacerbate issues for one card and no one else. Seems like maybe they could stand to spread the spectators out a bit.

Paul pures the shot on 12, Nate Perkins, gives zero shits. Did Nate go to give Paul a high five once and was rejected or something?

It is nice to hear players talk.. .. My first few times I played in a league I was a bit taken aback when fellow players didn't want to talk ,.. they weren't even saying "nice shot!" or things like that. Like jesus man, this is $5 league, get a grip and have fun.

My spoiler challenge was the 24 hr tape delay (remember that term?) for the coverage packages to be produced, and I saw an espn top 10 utube entry for James late Saturday I think, which I did not click. I knew James did something big again, like maybe hole 16.

Please stop giving score spoilers in the commentary. I like to watch the coverage from furthest down the scorecard up to lead card. I can skip and not look when scores are put on screen. But commentary spoilers are a bit of a buzzkill. Otherwise the coverage is great.
