As an old school HopHip Head, who had become disillusioned with modern DMC competitions, this was a return to form. Nothing will top the days of the late 90's and real vinyl, but this is pretty damned good.

Same here. I still don't like the EDM stuff, but MOST of this set was enjoyable.

Yeah I agree, it's not too bad. The main thing I can't get over but probably should is the samples ready on the mixer, like you say, using real vinyl and people having to mark out the record. Not to mention (well in my opinion) track selection was better back in the nineties.

i really cant talk highly enough about jfb, hes put the most work in over the years, hes always pushing himself further and further. each section of this set has a small piece of magic where youre like "wtf i didnt see that coming". as bored as i am of dmc sets and battle djing ingeneral jfb has put something together thats both credible and interesting to watch. he deserves every success, hes a true ambassador of the game.
