@@jgrc73 If you think it's expensive, you should try my friend's Ducati Superleggera - its over $100k! Seriously though, my GS Adv cost more than the MTS V4S - with the Ducati everything you need is standard, with the BMW and Harley for instance, everything you 'need' (for residual value) comes at a (significant) cost. For everyone else, bikes like the T700 are great VFM.

Hey Ducati, make a simpleton’s V4 Multi with minimal electronics and smaller tft or analog gauges. THAT to me would be a perfect bike. For longevity wise and cost of maintenance for me is a no brainer for a bare bones V4 Multi. That’s even cheaper that 20k.

Motorcycle market will never survive when a 2wheel vehicle is priced the same as a 4 wheel vehicle. R&D should never, imo, be translated into the final price as that is an understood aspect of production. Why, with manufacturing costs nearly the same as a decade ago, are bikes being sold for 2x that equivalent year price?

Because consumers pay the prices, same goes for cars and trucks. If you think this or other bikes are too expensive, buy Japanese, East-Indian or Chinese bikes.

@@thor8640 Basic economics...if prices continue to inflate..the market will dry as consumers are not going to be able to afford the cost. Simple...there will always be a small market for the well off, but most people buy second hand just for this exact reason.

had to laugh, ducati has been selling the desmodromic valve system for years as a plus. Now this guy is selling a standard valve spring setup as an improvement.....

In terms of the 10-12 hrs labor in the valve adjustments every 36k instead of 15k its a major improvement. For powerful high-revving bikes like my Streetfighter, Desmo is still an appropriatte solution.

Wish Ducati had thought more about the sat nav sygic! is useless its unfair for owners to come up with a prostituted method of mounting Garmin or Tom Tom to brackets etc to get good routable workable GPS. It should be apple car play google maps waze anything that works as a programable mirror of your phone not sygic its just unworkable. Also Why cant riders have the heated grips on whilst in sport mode? Ducati should also include tyre pressure monitors and keyless fuel cap in the £25k. It all should be a lot better

My 1200 multi enduro need an engine rebuild at 25,000 miles and was down for the next 3 months it worked for 2 weeks then it was down again for another 3 months and never ran safely again . So I don’t trust the companies build quality and customer support.

That was then but now Ducati is owned by the Germans is VAG group it got better with Texas pacific and now is on par with Bmw

@@drmengawyong I bought mine when after vw took them over . So sorry but you’re wrong. I spoke to the ceo directly and all that still happened I was on a North American tour that I wasn’t able to finish. My riding buddy Bernie was on an old v-storm he bought for $3,500. He had to leave me behind and tour Mexico for 3 months while my $30,000 Ducati was in the shop.

Tbo most owners won't be taking these off road, personally I like the bike but I hate the adventure bike looks I'd rather have the same bike but in road only with better styling.

I had a 2015 Multistrada. It was a POS. The Skyhook suspension wanted to do tank slappies at moderate cornering speeds. The throttle maps let any old lady in a Prius out drag me at the lights, but once in a while would go bananas wheelieing me into the car in front. At 5,000 miles there was a pile of metal filings on the oil pan drain bolt, the longest 3/16 inch. The clutch slave cylinder leaked so it had to be bled every month. The cost of maintenance and repairs was ridiculous. I now have a 1290 SAS. Better in every way. I hear VW wants to sell Ducati. Pity the fool who buys it.
