You nailed it. I have a ‘21 in gauntlet grey and vivid black and I love it. It has blue pinstriping. And you’re right, they should be doing more two-toned color schemes. Happy new year Brother Saint.

Nice Vid! Got a Fatboy on my radar! The main thing about slotted wheels to me: they are a pain to clean. Seems like the rear wheels are a magnet for that brake pad dust.

I have the 22 in midnight crimson and black. Big radius exhaust, monster sucker air intake, chromed out 12” bars controls and grips, LaPera bare bones with a fender bib. Sweet bike.

I have a 2023 fatboy in vivid black, I love it, I just wish it had the dummy cap on the left side of the gas tank, other than that great bike! I traded in my 2017 fatboy s for this one and don’t regret it at all, Happy New Year!

I had a 2018 Fat Boy, traded it for 2021 Police Road King liked it but just too heavy so traded it for 2023 Blue Fat Boy I love it but had to change seat to a Harley hammock seat. Stock seat just not comfortable after about 30 minutes or so.

The Roadkings are definitely heavier than the fatty. I agree that the stock Fatboy seats are not very comfortable after very little riding.

I have a 2019 FB and totally agree with you about the wheels - love the solid wheels; slotted wheels, not so much. I also like the tank emblem with the double wing as opposed to the single that is now offered.

I know your just talking about looks...the chrome, satin or shiny, the badging and the wheels...but a bigger issue to me is this is a bike for someone 5'10" or smaller...I'm 6"1" and my crotch is way to way to close to the tank and my knees are way to high above the badging..what the hell..a medium size bike...they need to give it a larger chasis

I’m 6 feet so I got an engine guard with highway pegs to stretch out. The Fatboy Lo wasn’t bad for shorter folks. Lower and slimmer seat.

i wanted a harley fatboy for 15years and in 2022 i was ready to buy one, and like you i preferred the '21 for all the things you pointed out. i looked for months but couldnt find a used 21 so i ended up buying a brand new '22 and honestly, i actually love the look of the new wheels now! and tank badge i think is nicer too. Maybe im just biased?

I have a 2020 Fat Boy. I think the satin chrome sets it apart from all the shiny chrome bikes out there. I love all the 18-24 Fat Boys shiny or satin. But I agree, Harley needs to offer more colors and more two tones. Mines a two tone.

I own a fatboy21 but thinking to trade it for a Street Glide St. What’s ur opinion?

I suppose it depends on what type of riding you plan on doing. If you’re wanting to do long trips the Street Glide would be better and likely more comfortable. If you just want to cruise, either one would be fine. Just depends on if you want to pay the higher price for Street Glide. As for performance, I’m not sure you’ll gain much with the 117 on the Street Glide over the 114 on the Fatboy. The reason I say that is because the Glide is a little over 100 pounds heavier than the Fatty.

I like them all, doesn't really mater about the slots, emblem, etc. I have a '21 gray/black/blue stipe, I love the look. My only complaint is it eats tires like no other bike I've had, and I''ve had a lot in my 50+ years of riding.

You got that right. Tires don’t last long on the new Fatboys and they’re expensive to change.

I'll take my skinny(relatively) tire FXLRS....just cuz I like to flick it around and not feel like I'm dragging on a fat/flat tire. Bigger is not always better at least in terms of tires. No snow here. rain for days and days and days, Crazy.

Ah, you have a keen eye. Yeah, I would like another Fatboy. Hard to say if that will work out as dealers won’t give you even a remotely fair trade in. They also charge crazy prices for used bikes. That’s why I’m trying to sell private. My next couple of videos will be on this stuff.
