2021 Ford Shelby GT500 - POV Drive

I bought my 2021 Ford Shelby GT500 a little over 3 months ago and I just can't get enough of it. I've been so distracted by it, I forgot to record content. My bad! Anyways, here's a good ol' POV drive video. Hope y'all enjoy!
Side note: The exhaust sounds a bit more intense in this video because I'm splitting the audio between the GoPro on my head and a mic by the exhaust. That car is 100% stock.

For me, the GT500 was awesome until I drove a Jaguar F-Type SVR. Sadly traded mine in immediately - I do miss it sometimes. The Jag F-Type SVR is simply the best sounding stock v8 ever created by mankind, and with its AWD, it obliterates the GT500 off the line. But the GT500 definitely has a personality and you can truly fall in love with this thing. Will always be my muscle car pick

The GT350R is still my favorite S550, but it's very very hard to argue against the GT500 with how strong the engine is and how easy it is to make power and the sheer ease of driving with that DCT.

I have both. Completely different animals. Both - epic. The only other car I have that competes in raw energy is my 17 Z06. Even then? 90 % of the time, you'll find me in one of my Shelby's. Work hard, lads. Cars like these, make it worth it. Promise.

I wouldn't have the Balls to drive in Track mode with Tc off specially in wetish conditions and cup 2 lol, I'm sure you've tried the limit on the 350, wonder how the jump in hp feels from a handling standpoint?

I’m still surprised just have different 2 feel! Even going back to the 350, it never feels slow. Some of that might have to do with manually shifting, the high red line, idk. The GT500 definitely has a jump in power, but something about it seems more accessible.

How's it been so far? I currently have a c7 z06 and in about a year or so I'm thinking of getting something else. I had a gtr or a bmw m8 competition in mind. I was going for AWD to always have that down low traction. Now the gtr does hold it's value but I would have to go for a 2012 or 2013 because they are expensive but they are old and might require higher maintenance to replace some parts. The m8 is much newer but I can't take the huge loss of depreciation over the next 4 years. So that's why I had added the gt500 to my list. It solves all my problems since they only made less than 6000 world wide, it will hold it's value for a long time and it's newer. Problem is that no AWD. So traction will be an issue down low. Same issue with my c7 z06. I have all season tires to get a longer life and to stop the rocks from being kicked up and damaging my paint.

As someone lucky enough to have been given the chance to drive one of these, they are a truly special vehicle! The drama and the immediacy that this car possesses is so incredibly rare! I’ve also driven a GT3RS and I (to my surprise) preferred the driving experience of the GT500!
