I admittedly fast forward through all the women's runs. The men's runs are _always_ soooooo sick!!! Miss seeing Markus Eder but, damn, these athletes are amazing!! The only thing similar to an extreme free ride in my parts (NH, USA) is The Tuck (Tuckerman's Ravine, Mt. Washington, White Mountains, NH, USA).

Can someone explain why there is such a massive difference in men and women freeride? Does strenght play a big part in this sport?

have you watched any women sport compared to mens sport? not trying to be sexist but they are almost always played "slower" so yes to answer your question it 100% comes down to raw strength.

well in this case body weight is a significant factor to how fast you travel down a steep slope, laws of physics and all. So I'd say that has something to do with it, as well as raw strength
