I passed on the 2021 GMC Sierra & GMC Canyon because the inside is looking so dated and bland along with a very plastic feeling. Ended up getting a new F150 King Ranch. I do think the GMC Sierra and a great looking truck but in desperate need of a refresh. 2021 GMC Canyon Denali and it still needs a key? My wife will be looking for a mid sized truck next spring, hopefully GMC Canyon will have a refresh for 2022, otherwise i will be taking her to Ford for the Ranger

Your decision on a King Ranch does make sense its a re-freshed truck with the Sierra getting a re-fresh next year. As for the Canyon vs Ranger argument not everyone hates the key or the interior but each to their own right. Hey maybe your wife will like it and you'll just be Snake Bit about it, lol.

In Canada you only Heated Seats on the cloth trim no heated wheel that I can see, hope this helps!

How do you adjust the suspension? Sent that the big deal with that AT4?

Hey Raul there are no suspension adjustments on the AT4's my friend. The AT4 trim has 17-inch wheels and 31-inch Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires, a specific off-road suspension setup, a skid plate, and a rear electronic locking limited slip differential. The Canyon AT4 also gets a larger front grille, red tow hooks, and interior bits including AT4 badges embroidered on the headrests.

@@WesternGMDrumheller great job on the overview features of the AT4, I am currently 2017 colorado Z71 owner looking at newer options from GM twins. AT4 doesn't seem like any more off road capable than Z71 as red tow hooks and badges don't cut it for me as off-road upgrades.

@@tmalley77 Correct! When GM told us to expect an AT4 Canyon in 2021 we (dealers) thought ZR2 Canyon baby...but nope it just replaced the SLT Trim is all so it looks great yes but the ZR2 is still the most capable off road truck GM makes, cheers!

You can’t order it in green? To order vehicles in limited colors is usually only a 400-500 upgrade.

no push button to start vehicle? no blind spot alert? no signals on the side view mirrors? you sure this is a 2021 for $47,913

Those are more 'half-ton' level features really, and it's hard to get into one of them for less than about $10k more than this. $48k doesn't go quite as far as it used to, but that's really for everyone. I prefer keys over pushbutton, shoulder check works just fine and the truck isn't really big enough to need indicators on the mirrors.

literally just left my dealer and there are 2 of these for sale in ontario. Both are 46 grand canadian. Cant factory order one. No alocations coming anytime soon. Want one... cant get one. The 2 available are 200kms from me and cant be dealer traded. Annoying

My two cents would be if they, your dealer, can't get you one go buy it at the stock 200kms away and make sure you tell them to "BIRD DOG" your salesmen at your local dealer $500 so that he's taken care of!

@@WesternGMDrumheller why does GM not do factory ordering? Why cant customers order one exactly how they want it with the dealer options and just wait a couple months for it to be built. Im in no rush. Id wait. But why? I was told they cant do it anymore

@@franw51 Here's the to the point answer that your Dealer should have told you. North America uses 30% of the global supply of (Computer Chips) but we produce around 12% of global supply...then TEXAS froze and they have a HUGE (Computer Chip Factory) that was completely shut down and is still shut down due to all the infrastructure (water/power) damage they sustained from about 3 weeks ago. Then throw in the trade fight that really escalated in Sept of 2020 with Trump VS China and boom we have a supply chain issue...not surprising since China makes more chips than any other country. BOOM we are where we are. So the truth is your dealership can build you a 2021 right now today and it will get built and delivered to the dealership before OCTOBER 2021. The biggest issue is as always some models and options will be on constraints meaning they will take longer than others to build and this changes from month to month. SO WANT THE GOOD NEWS SIR?...today the only constrains on ANY 2021 CANYON TRUCK are (CGN SPRAY IN BEDLINER) & (5SA DENALI) so if you want a AT4 without a Spray liner they can order and build it for you and it will get built and delivered to them before October. Normal orders are built in approx.10 weeks so expect 3 ish months due to the chip shortages and you'll have your truck! Tell them they owe me the $500 Bird Dog now, cheers!
