Yea for real! But knowing how stupid Harley is they'll say "well Slim sales are down so we mine as well cancel it". Uhh yeah no shit because you put a 114 in the Street Bob, made it passenger accessible and still charge a grand more for the Slim.

Well, I absolutely love what they did with the street bob!! Those paint jobs and graphics are awesome, the two up ready mods, and the 114 engine! I really, really love what they did with that bike! You are dead on with the live wire! There is NOTHING more technical than a freaking electric motorcycle!! It’s insanely technical. You would need a freaking PhD to air up the tires! I saw a breakdown of the launch event and I really don’t get why everyone is so disappointed? I haven’t seen anyone get into the hints from Harley about the upcoming “exclusive “ line they eluded to a couple of times in the beginning!?

Glad the family is ok brother. Yea I felt the same, they gave us what they had been talking about for sometime. We just keep knocking these days down because everyday we are closer to spring and riding season. Working on my Road King adding wheels and LEDs and fairing. Then I will ride this season and buy a new one in the fall or a low mileage 2020. But since I picked up this touring model we will meet up this spring.

Just saw the street Bob 114 in white at my local shop. The color is actually super nice ..I was impressed but then they told me the bike was 18k for a street Bob that just seems too much no matter that motor it has . Premium product, yes but if they want to sell bikes they gotta make them more affordable

Lol for some reason a lot people seem to compare an apple to a orange and they never seem to look at the bike for what it is. Idk it's a Harley Davidson not a indian or honda, ect. ect. I have a 2011 heritage softail and it does everything I need or want it too.

Nay, glad you and family are ok. The Harley unveil was very underwhelming to me. New colors big whoop. Nothing that would make me buy a new one. Not in the video but the touring models now have a cable clutch.

I was so excited to go to the launch. I even invited friends. we went and it was horrible. It was not live and the audio did not work for the first 10 minutes and we sat in the isles. once we did start watching it was all about people mostly. i dont care how you other people feel about the bikes. i want to see all the bikes and the technical info of what changed. i was just really disappointed. they did not even go over all that they promised. shesssh.

Harley should just stick to what they know. Keep building nice cruisers and ride out the eb and flow of the market. Quit trying to please everyone. Or maybe they should go back to the AMF days and build snow mobiles and golf carts so they can pander to that segment. Oh wait, that didn’t work out well for AMF. Thinking out loud here, maybe they shouldn’t have put the nasty AMF style paint jobs on their bikes these recent years. Personal opinion.., those paint jobs ruined the looks of the Low Rider and the Iron 1200. Hell, if the Bob had that nasty shit on it I wouldn’t have even considered buying one. Fuckin disco looking garbage..🤣
