I just did a demo today and I love this bike. The torque is impressive and I loved its handling. Sport was my mode of choice. I'm going to buy one for touring and some dirt access roads in my area. I am primary a sportbike rider and thought I wouldn't ever buy anything from HD but this is a fun bike!

Solid review but I am disappointed that you never mentioned the weight of the PA compared to the competition. It’s actually one of, if not the lightest in its class of large displacement, fully modded, sophisticated, modern ADV bikes. Especially when compared to the beemer. It’s also considerably less expensive than the competition. I know I sound like a Harley fanboy (because I am) but those are things worth mentioning in a review. IMO.

I bought this Pan Am. My radiator hose split open as it was so close to the exhaust. My bike is now at HD Greenhills and the staff there told me that the hose can't be replaced yet as they don't carry that part in their inventory. Also I was told that they don't know when its gonna be fixed. So frustrating.

They got a lot right with it, and I like the look, but I had a problem with the heat from it. My lower legs got roasted. I ride an air cooled Fat Bob so I'm no stranger to heat. I've had bikes with radiator fans blowing hot air on me before but this was really bad and when on the road there was no relief; not enough air gets past the mechanicals to your legs. Deal breaker for me. Lack of a speed shifter is also a big red flag on a bike of this price.

Did you modify the (almost) white HD-branding on the tank? It seems rather bright compared to what I've seen so far. At least here in EU it is more decent (dark grey) in its contrast to Vivid Black.

I didn´t notice the height adjustment, but i believe you, Jinno, haha. Impresive and inclusive adventure bike. However, I don't like that big straight exahust, like Megaman's arm. P. D. Me, Austrian Citizen should buy a ktm or a bmw gs like they all do when it comes to adv bikes. What i did is buying an hd pa. Why? because i love the brand, i love my cvo road glide and i love the way how hd managed to get this awesome bike out Into the market. It is so much different to all the others, it just stands out. I hope they will succeed. Gold Luck.

I bought this Pan America 2 months ago. I regretted buying it coz after 1,700 kms the radiator hose leaked for no apparent reason. I think it's because of its very close proximity to the exhaust pipe. Until now after 3 weeks I haven't had any idea when my bike's gonna be fixed. I should have bought a BMW GS1250 or even a Triumph Tiger 900. Those who are planning to buy HD Pan America, please think twice.

barely even noticed the height change. Not really a game changer offroad. Your foot will already be on the ground by the time the bike even starts to lower the seat height on an emergency stop.

Stop saying these bikes are heavy. Weight is relative and they are all this heavy. Therefore they are not heavy. Until someone builds one from titanium and carbon fiber this is the standard so get over it or get a 250cc on/off road bike.
