Just got the Touring 2.0 yesterday. Amazing vehicle. I've been doing research for a few months, and narrowed it down to either the Accord or Camry, top trim on both. Test drove those back in March, along with the Mazda6, Sonata, and K5. Then I spent the next few months doing more research online, and narrowed it down to those 1st two. And the Accord Touring just did it for me. Contacted about 20 dealers looking for their best offer, and just went from there. Was a process, but stayed with it, and finally found a good deal. And getting into it yesterday, and an extended drive, such a great car. Subjective of course for each buyer, but the little nits people have, for me, not an issue. I've read the sound system isn't top notch. Im not a musician, or 25 years old needing to blow the windows off at stop lights blasting it, so its fine. I cant tell any difference. Wanted to adjust the base, and I did, sounds good , for what I need. If your very particular about the sound system, might not be your thing, but it works for what I would use it for, daily driving, background music, etc.. Only front wheel drive? Again, for me, not noticeable, I really put it to the test a bit, and handled fine, the shifters worked perfectly.. did what it was supposed to Its only been a day, and need some more time and space for a more in-depth view, but so far, happy with my purchase. Had to look up and down all of So Cal, but finally found a dealer willing to work with me. Told him I didn't want any of those add ons dealers put on after the fact, he obliged. And when I got to the dealer to pick up the car, he said his staff, put on wheel locks, some kind of protective flap, and a trunk thingy, and he didn't have a chance to tell them not to put it on. So since we had a prior agreement, I wasn't charged for all that. Woop...

@@chuckfan1 you are right, touring seems to come with chrome handles. :( I am planning to enquire at honda service centre to replace chrome handles with body color once. Since sport has the same keyless entry mechanism, it should be technically possible for them to do that installation but not sure whether they will do it!

Nice and comprehensive video! One thing I did not see mentioned that I thought was cool is that the Accord 2.0t Touring comes with a reverse gear tilt-down which is the passenger side mirror tilting towards the ground when you are in reverse so that you can perform curb parking with convenience (I know BMW has had this for a long time but it's always a good feature).

I don’t go around blaring my tunes every moment but when I want it’s nice to have some quality sound. Honda needs to stop short-changing their sound systems and on the Touring model a premium system should be standard and should be an option for other models?

Correction on the 0-60 times on the 2.0t engine. It's not 6.2 seconds. It's 5.6 seconds bone stock. Tune gets it to 5.3 seconds. Quick car. I own the exact car your testing same color

The Accord is not my favorite of the segment. However, it does set the standard for the class. It's always as good or better than everything in the segment. I'd love to see you test an Accord 2.0t against the K5 GT with the 2.5t and see which you prefer.

as far as MPG, I average 40mpg per tank in the 2020 1.5L LX, driving 80% highway. Pretty great. But if you're looking at LX, definitely be aware that the seat is terrible (I'm 5'9, 170lbs), so pay attention to the seat during a decent test drive and then try out the other trims. Some buzzes here and there in the interior is annoying, but the car handles so much better than the last gen and the interior is simple and clean. Power is adequate enough.

The front suspension is not McPherson strut. It's is double wishbone. Also you were showing the 2.0 engine and shifter buttons at the beginning while describing the 1.5. But I totally agree how amazing a car it is. I own the 2018 EXL 2.0 and it is absolutely incredible.

LMAO why is it that all of you youtubers reviewing the 2021 Accord miss the redesigned lower left and right sides of bumper? It's more prominent than the previous years. Those are vents not curtains. Also the front radar sensor is MORE visible than the previous years. You should put an earlier model 10th Gen Accord side by side and you will see the differences.

I didn't know that the JB4 was carb legal. Good info. For Hondas Hondata has two versions. One carb legal and one not, that is tunable....The 4 cyl in the TLX does not sound like other 4 cyl. It sounds almost like a 6 cyl.....Sorry to hear about your last point. That's what warranty's are for.

I would think so. You can see at 4:17. Just pause the video right when he smashes the gas and pause the video again when it reaches 60. Seems to be about 6 seconds to me. Although if it he had let it shift automatically, it would probably have been a bit faster.

Warning to those who live in winter climate conditions. I had a 2008 Accord with uncoated factory rear brake calipers that required replacement every 2 years. The salts laid down on the roads rust and seize up the brake calipers. Plus at that point, the rear rotors and pads will also need to be replaced. It's quite an expensive ordeal but not sure if Honda has addressed this issue in its newer models.

I just bought a 2021 Black Accord Sport 2.0t and the only issue I am having is that the display screen will occasionally go blank as well as been having trouble keeping my iPhone connected. At times I will be driving down the road talking to someone and my phone will disconnect randomly, but then a minute or two later may reconnect. Curious if anyone else is having this issue and/or recommendations on fixing this issue. Other than that it is an awesome car!!!!

Drives nicely and love the new Sonic gray color but still waiting for a redesign as I still think the grill/front is pretty hideous though slightlt less than before. The taillights aren't bad but they also need a redesign. The interior leather/cloth is a bit cheap but comfortable. Overall the interior is a nice improvement over the last generation but compared to a Mazda still feels a bit low budget with the exception of the screen/infotainment. And lastly the 2.0T is awesome and the 10 sp solid but quite expensive overall. The 1.5T is decent but has questionable reliability. Honda should've stuck with the 2.4 as the base engine for its reliability and offered an 8 speed auto transmission.

I have the 2018 2.0T Accord Sport. It will be three years next month I've had it and I still love driving it. There are a few things they "fixed" in this one compared to mine though. One is the digital speedometer readout. In mine you can only see KPH not MPH if you choose to show it in the middle section like you do in this video. Another thing they added in the 2021 2.0T sport is the usb ports in the backseat, unless those were dealer addons to this specific car. I assume the wireless charging was an addon also but if not that's nice standard feature for the 2021.

I was going to wait for Sonic gray pearl too but glad I didn't. I saw it for the first time about a month ago and didn't like how it looked like on the Accord. On the Civic and CR-V it's nice but on the Accord it just didn't look right. I picked up a 20 Accord Touring in Lunar Silver which was my 2nd choice behind the gray that you got. I've had gray cars for a while though so having silver was a nice change. It looks really nice under the lights though. I didn't like the changes for the 21 as much so I ended up getting an nice deal on the 20 instead. The fog lights doesn't look right, startup chime is more annoying, and that added chrome on the grille was a turn off. You still have a nice car though regardless. The Accord Touring is the trim to get over the TLX that's for sure.

This is not their luxury brand. Maybe on their Acura line... even then I would still dislike it. I also thought about chipping. I think with minor chips. That sonic pearl is going to show it more.

Spending this much money and Torque Steer :( Not expected by HONDA. You buy this car not for the interior but for driving quality. Competition gives hell better interior with more and more features even AWD and V6 for those to whom it matters. I would buy an Accord for acceleration and handling at high speeds but torque steer will kill my hopes and wish to buy this vehicle :(

Not feeling this color on an Accord.....looks like it’s trying too hard to be something it’s not. In fact, I’m not feeling this gen Accord at all. Front and side are OK, but the rear is a mess. Honda had a golden opportunity to restyle the ugly lobster claw taillights during this refresh and failed to do so SMH.

I thought I would like this color on the Accord too since I liked it on the Civic and CR-V. See pics or video is one thing you people need to see this car in person. I honestly don't like how it looks like on the Accord. I ended up getting a Lunar Silver 20 Accord Touring and that color is super nice. I think gray and black are the best colors on the Accord tho. Silver is a nice alternative if you don't want white which everyone has. Yeah I agreed that Honda should've done something to restyle the taillights with this revision but they left it exactly the same which is a shame. They revised the taillights for the 16-17 Accords which was nicer looking but for the 21-22s nope! I ended up modding my OEM taillights since I wanted to keep them cause of the extra brake light on the Touring models. I did some red overlays and then light smoke the whole light. It's looking 100x better and it should've been there way stock. To be honest they should've kept the prototype taillights which are super sweet.

I unfortunately did not like the ride quality in the accord 2.0 I test drove. I have a 2018 Maxima Platinum with 55k miles and my car still felt smoother than the brand new 2021 :/ it was such a let down. Maybe I test drove a bad one.

Mikey T, I agree with u on the ride quality of the Sport version. I have no first hand experience of ride quality of the Touring version, however, it does have a two position ride control. Other videos say the comfort pos. is softer than the Sport.
