Same here! I'll keep enjoying my 84 250R for now. It has wider rear axles, kenda tires, pipe, forged piston, and 38mm carb. Runs great and jumps like butter.

Back in the 80's 1 friends had a 250r and another friend had a tri-z 250. My mom would not let me get one because she said they were too dangerous. Both my friend have since died from overdosing so maybe mom was right. On a serious note the two-stroke 250s were awesome machines

The geometry looks right compared to my old 86, with extended swing arm and extended axle made these things a dream to ride. The aluminum frame is was the wow factor most won't recognize unless they spent most fridays welding that shitty steel frame in preperation to go weekend riding in the late 80s. Every slightly hard landing would break the frame somewhere. Soo much fun. One set of sprockets to match the flat track tires and one set for the sand paddles. Good job.

That's cool, I have a 185's that bored to 224cm/3 & case bored to 73mm w/a 38mm carb, putting out approximately 40hp & 21ft. lbs. of torque with a top speed of 87mph. This thing weighs like 298 lbs, it ought ta be called a ATC185'scat😳🤯

Nice! Aluminum frame and everything. Got the fork rake right too. (Holy crap say that 10 times fast) It's a trip how it still looks like it could/ would be the 1988 model or something. If my '85 250r ever died (like it fell into a volcano or it evaporated ect.) this is the next best thing.

Fork rake = same spec as all other modern builds we do … this cr handled 🔥 💪🏼 with suspension tweaking
