Hello! Honda Civic hatchback 2019 owner here... Here’s a little known trick... if you want to chill in your car at night or day.. and want to turn on the car for heater or a/c but don’t want the daylight lights to turn on. Simply before starting your car... make sure your e brake is on and then after making sure it’s on turn your car on... the daylight running lights should remain off until you take the e brake off, that’s when they will turn back on.

@@julianparker896 there's not a function or setting I know that you can change. I do know that people use a tool called Honda hack which essentially "jailbreaks" your head unit. This gives you the ability to add other apps and capabilities.

Thank you very much for this video. I just recently traded in my 2016 Honda Civic for a 2021 Civic EX-L. Everything is pretty much the same but just leather seats. FOR THE LONGEST TIME, I've been trying to change my wallpaper, even on my 2016 and I just gave up. I didn't even think to come to KZbin. I was looking for some MOD ideas and I came across your tips and tricks video. I knew a few of them just from playing around, but now I know how to customize my dashboard and I really appreciate it. I've noticed on my 2021 I can play games through the Android Auto fuction. It's pretty cool. I don't know if it was an update but I wasn't able to do it on my 2016.

Do the reverse with the key fob to close the windows, so press the lock button the same as you did the unlock so you don’t have to take the key out

I'm subbing to your channel and hoping to watch more great videos 😀 Small note, though: To open the windows via the key fob and close them with the key, you don't need to press (or rotate) twice, then press and hold. Instead you can just press/rotate twice and hold (so instead of 3 clicks, you just need 2)

For me it defaults to the last one I used. If your phone is plugged in. You can ad wazed and if that's what you were using when you turned the car off, that's the one that will come back on.

If you go to settings, and then vehicle settings there are a few different options you can choose as far as the headlights coming on when you unlock the vehicle. As well you can set the lights to stay on for certain amount of time when you leave the vehicle as well.
