I love mine. Hauls 2 ppl and wood up the hills and never has scared me at all. I was skeptical so i installed winch. Never needed it yet. I also upgraded to bighorn 2 tires. Goes through slop very easy.

Good farm machine. Out on the trails they get stuck everywhere with those tiny tires. They also are rough and you won't keep up with other people if riding in a group.

Have you noticed any trouble with the exhausts on the 520? I have one with 700 miles and have had to have the exhaust replaced 3 times due to the welds on the heat shield breaking. The muffler also turns blue due to high heat......

Yea…need a glove box most definitely need more storage.. plus don’t drive this machine in shorts on a hot day , the heat off that engine is crazy hot. 🥵. Other than that is is a very reliable side x side … i own a P-500 …Love it.

Will changing the tire size affect the accuracy of the speedometer?

Yes, the larger the tire, the faster you will be going compared to what your speedo says.

Honda is still offering the Pioneer 500 model that has the Rack instead of the bed. but the 520 models will come with the bed.

These make for a great little snow plow rig. To get it in reverse you have to pull a little reverse lever as well as use the shift down paddle to get the machine from neutral to reverse.

You can adjust the cable on the reverse safety lever so all you have to do is pull the left paddle for reverse

How would you compare this to a Kawasaki Mule?

They are both great options. The Honda does have some clear advantages with Suspension(5.8 vs 3.1), Power (117cc difference), Brakes (disc vs drum) and the fact that it is 50" Wide is great. The Mule SX 4x4 FI is a great machine though that comes in at 52.6" wide and has an awesome 3 year warranty that makes it a great little work machine for a lower entry price.
