Yes, it's really good analysis. See the attitude of Hyundai India...they not only increased prices but also removed some of the important features. Earlier, the base variant in petrol and diesel was available with only price difference of Rs.12000... Now diesel E variant price crossed 10 lakh.

If at the end I have to make a compromise then it's better to buy the EX variant than S. It'll your your almost 1 lac rs and some cosmetic features like fog lamps, alloy wheels can done aftermarket.

You'd be hitting an axe to your feet if your buy that obsolete, overpriced garbage now. The only saving grace is the Mercedes 1.3l turbo petrol. Aside that, Duster is not a car worth buying in 2020.

If you want More Mileage in a little bit less fuel price then you should switch to Diesel at the same price range... But the Fuel price and mileage doesn't matter for you then you should go for 1.4 turbo no doubt...
