Been watching a lot of dyno pulls from most manufacturers. I understand heat cycling on the dyno etc., but break in periods are supposed to be for all components, breaks, tires, bearings, chains, sprockets etc. Whether that affects ultimate HP can be argued but establishes that all mating components are wore in properly. Years ago the cycle magazines would publish quarter mile and roll on times. I would rather see these machines taken to the track totally stock ( tire air pressures etc.) and run to establish the trap speeds. Kawasaki probably spent more money on engineering the fairing for down force for Johnny Rae in WSBK which how many of us would actually feel that than squeezing out 200 HP. But I do love the color.

Thanks for being straight up with the dyno readings, I’ve got my bike booked in to have ECU flash in a few months time and I’m continually hearing the same thing about accurate readings which slightly concerns me as it’s all about money and affordability for me as it is for most folks so you’re just hoping you get what you pay for.

DYNO is a tool. Really the only numbers that's important is your base number and the number you finish with after your tune(flash). The OL butt DYNO will definitely be happy with some quality key strokes by a reputable tuner/builder. My bmw S1000RR M 2020 was a completely different bike after I flashed the ecu. It transformed my bike so much that I had to learn the bike over again.

It's primarily due to being a homologation special. It has parts that may not be changed in World Superbike per the rules. Namely, connecting rods and pistons. In the world of online videos, where anyone can upload videos, you pick the lazy approach and gave half of the dyno results! You couldn't possibly take what, 1hr extra to get the TQ numbers!? There are already full dynos of the 2021, you're not the first and getting the video out quicker is irrelevant at that point. Congratulations, your before and after build will not have the TQ difference the mods made. Video is useless, 50 other people will have both results and will get your views and subs. @SuperbikeUnlimited
@SuperbikeUnlimited 3 жыл бұрын
For one, DIN vs SAE vs STD is not a radical change. We now use DIN for shop projects because it's the standard most of the people we work with in Europe are using. @@SuperbikeUnlimited you literally was too lazy to get a proper rpm signal which means your dyno readings aren't correct anyways. All the videos I have seen so far for the new bike were done in an actual dyno room and only 2 actually tapped the rpm signal properly yet all 3 bikes dyno'd in the 176-178 range. @SuperbikeUnlimited
@SuperbikeUnlimited 3 жыл бұрын
@@EnviedKing Dynos modules adjust for conditions and pressures. A dyno room is normally in a very slight vacuum for clearing exhaust gas and this does not make one read higher. The numbers we often see that read high like this are very often old dynos, using old hardware and PC software.
