Just drove one of these today. My God did KW finally build one hell of a truck, transmission was smooth, was not a fan of the air lines that came from factory, I like the arm rest on the freight liners better but man these trucks are smooth and strong!

Sure would be nice if OEM's offered slightly larger sleepers. A 96" or a 102" would nice. I don't want something huge per say, just a bit more for storage and room to stretch out a bit more. I could certainly go for a bigger fridge with a proper freezer compartment. On a side note, are any OEM's offering Metalsa's Alcoa alluminum frame rails? I read about them some time ago, and been curious since. I don't think I've ever seen a truck with one in the wild, unless they paint em black like every other frame out there..

Gorgeous pair of trucks. I love the color and the bumper wrap around. I became one of those guys who Jake braked empty from driving all around NY City. It saved me many times when others did stupid stuff in front of me. Then it became habit to have it on at all times but I get what you mean. Lol

My jake is on all the time even when bobtailing except for that slick packed snow. Remember they used to be called brake savers. And Andy, can you get the additional grill bars on this model or no?

Can't believe every internet rumor. The dash changes are motivated by the engine manufacturers due to additional digital controls. Hard to believe the W-900 faces extinction. As long as sales are strong, & the sister 389 is in production, wait for PACCAR Lineup announcements

This question arose in another channel. You stated that a Canadian Inventoried truck could NOT be sold for USA registration. A PACCAR rule? But can a Canadian purchase a truck in the US for registration in Canada? Only dealing w/ NEW vehicles in this comment.

It's a touchy subject. The process of exporting trucks that are new is far too cumbersome. KW discourages it but cannot actually stop it. Inland (the company I work for) won't allow me to sell to the US. I'm busy enough as it is with my Canadian customers. I'm happy to have viewers around the world watching though.

Why does KW not have any truck that has the dinette option like the Freightliner and Volvo ? Even the W9s don't ! KW needs to step up the game for us long haulers that stay out months at a time !

It's not a common ask kenworth gets. Our rotating table is a popular option but having to set up a bed every night can be a pain.

It’s about 3000 and when they reade off in 4 years there isn’t any added trade in value.

When will the new “car hauler spec” flattop be available in the 52”?

Read somewhere that it would be around mid year until able to order. Though the “car hauler” front suspension has been available. The 14.6k 5” drop axle and spring. The rear air glide suspension is what’s new, plus the 52” flat top of course. But you’ll be able to get that, car hauler or not
