Pretty good video.. A few extra pointers. 1. Its best to leave one propane tank turned off. That way if your tank goes empty, youll know it versus letting it switch automatically and having the possibility of running out of water. 2. Propane leak detector ~ will slowly put a drain on battery, so its best to have a battery disconnect or physically disconnect the battery during period of extended storage. 3. GFI ~ The most common AC electrical issue is a tripped GFI typically caused when running a toaster, coffee maker and the wife or daughter uses a curling iron or hairdryer simultaneously. 4. Leveling the trailer. Recommend the large flat LEGO style leveling system. easier to store and less bulky than a 2x4 or 4x4. Also I'd recommend using the bottom of the refridgerator as a area to check how level the trailer is. The Refridgerator is always center of the teeter totter because of weight so this is a good are to check the level.. Also if you gently open fridge door , it shouldnt swing open or closed if the trailer is level. 5. Always run water through hot water line before using either gas or electric for the water heater.. As there is an overtemp thermal disconnect on the hot water heater.. You dont want to chance popping it! 6. TV is it a smart tv? Shou;d show how to hook up a dvd player to it since it doesnt appear that the nsupplied tv has a built in dvd player. 7. I highly recommend you have a CLEAR elbow on the sewer line connector at the ground, So you can tell if you've got the black tank washed down good or not! 8. In regards to the Jacks/slide not working... Chances are you killed the battery whilst dry camping.. Good idea to have jumper cables so you can jump the trailer battery and recharge it.. Especially in the winter becuae the furnace will use alot of battery amperage in winter. Oh and also have extra 30 amp fuses for the front tougne jack! because if you get the battery low and try running a jack with low voltage, it causes higher amperage pull and WILL pop a fuse.. Best to have extra fuses handy just in case. I manage an RV rental agency... These are things that are usually an issue with novice RV'ers. I watch alot of these videos and this is by far one of the best! Just wanted to share some pointers.

I have the same brand RV, but mine dual tank. One for grey and one for black. It is easier to hook up two hoses or just one? Meaning one for the grey and one for the black with a Y at the end. I usually hook up both, but find that water back flows because of the Y connector. I don't know if I'm doing it right or if we should only hook up one hose, flush grey, and then switch to black.

Thanks. This helped a lot. My dealer did a walk through but it was quite crappy and nothing as detailed as this was. Can the refrigerator and freezer run on the battery/solar? For how long?

Hey Kyle, glad you liked it. There are two fridge options with Passport fridges. The 12v fridge runs direct off the battery, impossible to say how long, because it depends on weather, how much the fridge is open, and what type of battery you have. The gas/electric fridge runs off of either either propane or 110v. The probably will keep the fridge running longer.

How do I make sure the electric version of hot water heater is working? It doesn’t seem to be heating it

Hey, if you have it running for an hour and there is no hot water it isn’t working. Most common issue is that the element is burnt out, it works on Gas?
