This whole video is the story of my life. Bad part, hard packaging, lost tools. The only thing missing was the spacer rolling away under a tire somewhere LOL.

I’m curious to see if your rotor stays in speck . I had a “warp” in my klx250 rotor when I bought it used . As I rode of course it would heat up from the added friction and get to the point where the lever would pulsate when the front brake was applied. I noticed when I swapped out the front hoop and was truing the wheel that some of the adjustments would cause this drag on the rotor to increase . I figure that the design with that foam damper puts enough pressure on the rotor to throw it out of whack . I swapped out the stocker for an EBC unit which is full floating and have had 1 full season of smooth braking .

I have the same freaking issue when braking it’s pulsating like crazy but I don’t wanna spend $200 on it 😩

When you removed the reflectors off the front forks did you put anything in place of the brackets they were mounted on or did u just put the bolts back in?

My front brake just started doing the same thing at 1600 miles. I have yet to lay my bike down, so I’m guessing the klx300 front rotors have a tendency to warp for some reason? Because of the rubbing, it now makes an annoying squealing sound when riding. Looks like I’ll need to order a new rotor as well. Let us know if the issue comes back with the new rotor!

@ KC Outside what is the size of the Dunlop D606 that you have on the KLX300? I'm considering the Kenda and Dunlop combo for my KLX300, as well. I can't find a 100/100-18 for it. Just wondering if a 120 is too wide. Thanks!

Which bike would you pick for 70% off road 30% street, the KLX or DRZ? I have a DRZ, but I think it sucks off road due to the weight and the KLX intrigues me.

IMO the 300 is more fun & nimble off road, it just lacks in power when lofting front wheel over obstacles. I actually just sold the DRZ because it was just sitting, I was using the 300.
