I just started the video, but I'm already internally screaming with anticipation to see what's going to be released. Edit: I'm so glad there's prices. I know how much to start saving already. My favs are the pumpkin tree, the ghost school, the book store, and I think the poison apple shop is going to look awesome next to last year's Taffy shop. I can't wait to see the exclusives, fingers crossed for more ghosts, haunted houses, or maybe a new vampire castle.

Lemax is killing it for 2021! This makes me so excited and proud of being a Lemax Spooky Town collector! Definitely picking up the carnival pieces.. I love the clown with the balloons and the scared kids! The pumpkin tree house is a must as well! Thank you for the review and great job to the village idiots! I love the content!

This is one of the greatest years for Spooky Town I've seen in a long time. Definitely reminds me a lot of the 2006 era when I first started collecting my original village. I have so many great memories as a kid going to Menards each year and picking out a new building to bring home. This year's releases really make me nostalgic for that simpler time.

OOOOOMMMMMGGGG!!!!WOW! LEMAX 2021 IS AMAZING!!!! I LOVE THIS YEAR'S LEMAX!!!So many pieces I want for my collection. This video just really reminded me why I chose to collect more lemax versus department 56. I feel like I get more for my money with lemax...they have more lights and sounds. Was totally not impresed with dept.56 2021 bland and uneventful. They just took licensed themes and made bulb buildings.....they could have done so much more 😐. Love you guys THANK YOU FOR THE UPDATE.

Wow!!!! This year is DEFINITELY great, one of the best like you said in years!! Most importantly to me: FINALLY ANOTHER PIECE TO GO WITH MY MINING/QUARRY THEME! Definitely getting the Skull Cave quarry to go with my Dead mans mine, WE Slabbum tombstone quarry, and hopefully soon the very elusive 2013 black mountain coal mine! (EDIT: only drawback is the cave does not have a soundtrack!) Also getting that Distillery for sure. Point Dread has also caught my eye, but I want to hear the soundtrack on it before I make any decisions(EDIT: heard the soundtrack, it is amazing, definitely getting it). Also may get some of the standard lit pieces, will have to see. Can’t wait to see the Michael’s Exclusives also, they will surely be amazing at this rate! Also loved hearing all of your ideas and comments on this and I agreed with a lot of what you all said. See you on the next one!

First of all, I just have to say that this year is really impressive. Last year sucked and there was lots of plastic and many broke, but this year looks like it will be much better. The Ferris wheel, The lighthouse, the quarry, and the distillery, are awesome. Seems like all the pieces are going to be very good and I will have to get most of them. Usually I don’t want all of the pieces for the year but I think i’m going to get as many as I can. Keep up the good videos Doug!

Lemax has knocked it out of the park for 2021. Love the Web of Terror & think that the Bad Apple Shop would be great beside it, for a carnival theme. I LOVE LOVE the Bookstore--you said exactly what I was thinking Doug--it will go extremely well with the Library. I have a town section of my display, and I'd really like to expand it. Lemax prices are higher here in Canada, but by hook or crook, I hope to acquire a few pieces this year. Thank you to all for expert advice--Kelly is always so upbeat :)

Wow! I am speechless! I feel Lemax hit out of the park this year. Like Kelly said, the cart will be full. I am interested in how the Web of Terror and Whiskey Distillery sound tracks sound like. I think the skeleton thicket arbor will be a great entrance to a haunted corn maze. I also think that the tree house would be a good accessory to the corn maze or be a centerpiece. The accessories are just as fantastic this year. I was not aware that people can submit design ideas. A person can submit them directly to Lemax? I appreciate Ryan's input regarding pricing and kind of lighting or animation. Cool. I really wish that the Zombie records or the blues piece had soundtracks of music. I agree Ryan's comment about the plastic look to previous pieces. I agree that some pieces have disappointed me because of this. I like the resin or porcelain. I really look forward to your actual product reviews, Doug, this spring or summer. I will be curious if your thoughts will change about any of them. Yeah! I cannot wait. Love the lighthouse and definitely have to get it this year.. the lighthouse animation video really got me excited to buy it...and the punkin tree house is perfect. The spooky cave reminds me so much of the runaway railcar which sadly broke on us. It's gonna be tough to beat the graveyard party though from last year!

I have been buying paint at michaels the last few months and I think it's safe to say there will be coupons, but they will be MUCH more limited. Michaels now usually has a 20 percent off your total purchase but they still do sometimes throw out the bigger 40's every once in awhile.

I'm just wondering your thoughts on the breakability of these Lemax pieces. I feel like they look cool online, but when I see them in the store, they're already broken in multiple places (heads broken off etc) and they've only been displayed for a couple weeks.And they're still expensive!

Hey Aimee- the store pieces are usually broken for various reasons. The biggest is they get pawed on by the general public. Sometimes it's employees, even. And sometimes the buildings get run for a bunch of time straight and the motors go. Small cosmetic things can be fixed. Being in the hobby means you WILL get good with superglue :). The mechanical parts are unfortunately also a big part of the hobby and a lot of them do break down if you run them a bunch. There are ways to fix them but they require a bit of work. The lighting usually fares much better over the long term though. Some people get pieces with no animation and collect only them for that reason! Hope that answers your questions

Like do they last for a couple years if you run them off and on during spooky season? or? Right now I'm mostly collecting Dept56 since I'm mostly into either harvest or christmas (not scary) but I do like some of the Lemax pieces.

I have the log cabin that was mention earlier. The fog part of the building or chimney stack is a better description stopped working 3 weeks after purchase. I kept the piece because I still love it for the details but the chimney not working was a huge disappointment. So far I like every thing I'm seeing tho for this years release.
